Super fun escape back in time. We were looking for something other than your normal everyday everywhere restaurants after a... visit from out of town to Hershey Park. We were not disappointed!!! Very cute diner atmosphere, great food, big portions!!! Wedid not have dessert, no room after the big dinner, but the place is great, very nice staff, good food, good music. We stopped at Soda Jerk after getting caught in the rain at Hersheypark. We were craving some hot food and beverages and this... place definitely delivered. Soda Jerk is a classic central PA diner with a menu so large that you wonder how they possibly knowhow to make everything on it. I can report that they at least knew how to make what we ordered and it was delicious! Mygirlfriend and her sister got grilled Ham and Cheese sandwiches with a side of French Onion soup. All were really tasty and thepresentation of the French Onion soup was great. I was impressed that they had crocks on deck ready to go. I go a Reuben paninibut subbed Turkey instead of Corned Beef. It was really good and filling. The fries it came with were also really good! Iusually assume all diner fries taste the same but I ate almost the entire pile. I also got a cup of chili (I was reallyhungry). The girls both got hot tea, which was well presented with hot water mug and lemon. All in all, this place reallydelivered. It was reasonably priced and the food was exactly what we wanted. Don't be dissuaded by the fact that it is in astrip mall. This place has the diner atmosphere and cuisine that you are looking for! This is a nice little gem in Hershey. From lunch and dinner to soda pop and ice cream. It definitely reminds you of the 50's... and a great hang out spot. The wait staff were very nice and the food was delicious. This would be a five star except for onour particular visit there was excessive noise that could have been alleviated. Upon arrival we were sat in a side area wherenobody else was. There were at least 20 tables in other sections available at this point. I understand table rotation forservers, however, this section was right next to construction they were doing. This meant we had to endure what sounded likejackhammering during the duration of our meal. The waitress was extremely nice and kept apologizing for it claiming they weresupposed to be done any minute. That minute never came and even upon leaving it was obvious we could have been sat in anotherarea away from the noise. Construction aside, the ambiance and food were terrific and we will be back! What a great breakfast place!!! I am so happy we found this as our hotel breakfast left much to be desired. The service was... fantastic, food came out piping hot and super fast. The portions are HUGE we all took leftovers back to our hotel. Willdefinitely be back here next time we are in Hershey! Read more
Great diner in a fun atmosphere. We came here after a day at Hershey Park and didn?t want a chain restaurant. So glad we did! ... The food was very good and the service was great too!! The wife and kids had pancakes which they said were excellent. My onedaughter had spaghetti and meatballs which she liked the spaghetti a lot. I had the Greek salad which was really good! And ofcourse we had to try the chicken fingers - they were ok? 3/5. Overall a great place and we were too full to eat dessert. Read more

The service was fantastic. The staff are very attentive and quick to get you anything you ask for. They have some great... variations of eggs Benedict that are very tasty. We had the chorizo and Chipotle benedict which was great. The home frys were abit of a let down, almost like fried mash potatoes, but still worth the trip. Read more
