Service was fast, restaurant was clean, food was delicious. We're tourists spending the day near Glacier. Our camp site had a... flyer for Great Bear Cafe so we stopped in. The restaurant is easy to find and plenty of parking. When we walked in we grabbedmenus and the server came and took our order. My wife and I split a full order of biscuits and gravy. It was self seating and wegrabbed some waters from the self serve soda machine. I washed my hands in the bathroom which was clean and well stocked. Thefood came quickly. It came on two plates, which we hadn't asked for but was a sign of excellent customer service. Food wasdelicious and there was plenty for each of us. Would definitely recommend. Read more
Great local spot. Had the elk burger for the first time and it was very good! They were about to close for a few weeks to have... some work done. Don't let it deter you. Check it out when they reopen. Read more

This was my favorite breakfast after a 10 day trip across MT. Can?t beat the price for a giant pile of good home cooked... breakfast. The sourdough toast was bomb and the strong coffee was just what we needed before taking on the going-to-the-sunroad. Don?t pass this place up! Read more
We tried the Elk burger and broccoli salad?both delicious! We wanted to try the huckleberry cheesecake but they were sold out -... must?ve been a hit! The restaurant is very homey. People were friendly. We ate outside where the breeze and views were amazing. Read more
My sister and I stopped here for breakfast on our way to hiking in Glacier NP and it was so delicious we had to return for lunch... the next day! All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. AND the food was out of this world good! Fresh fluffy deliciousbread for toasts and sandwiches. Yummy jams and made to order breakfast and lunch options. We enjoyed our orders of the VeggieScramble and Country Breakfast during our first visit. On our second visit, we were equally impressed with our Smoked Turkeysandwich and Beef Burger with Potato Salad. You absolutely must stop here if you?re in the area! Read more
