I recently tried out City Barbeque and I wasn't disappointed! I used to drive by this spot all the time and never once stopped... by.. that will most definitely change. The one in Huntersville has exceptional customer service! That's the first thing Inoticed as I walked in the door. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home. On the food.. I got the Nashville hotchicken sandwich meal with 2 sides and a drink. The sandwich was fried to perfection with a slight crunch and just the rightamount of heat. The Mac n chz was nice and creamy and the baked beans were sweet n spicy. The only drawback was the sweet teathat was not so sweet, so I got a lemonade instead. Amazing food at a good price, easily $10 or less a person unless you get a lot of food, and then you're going to get a LOT of... food. They also carry local beers! Been coming here since this locatIon opened and they have always been great. After the service I received today, this will be my... last time at a City BBQ. My food sat on the counter for 15 minutes before I was even acknowledged. Meanwhile, three differentcustomers walked in for pick up and were immediately helped. Read more
