I recently tried out City Barbeque and I wasn't disappointed! I used to drive by this spot all the time and never once stopped... by.. that will most definitely change. The one in Huntersville has exceptional customer service! That's the first thing Inoticed as I walked in the door. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home. On the food.. I got the Nashville hotchicken sandwich meal with 2 sides and a drink. The sandwich was fried to perfection with a slight crunch and just the rightamount of heat. The Mac n chz was nice and creamy and the baked beans were sweet n spicy. The only drawback was the sweet teathat was not so sweet, so I got a lemonade instead. Amazing food at a good price, easily $10 or less a person unless you get a lot of food, and then you're going to get a LOT of... food. They also carry local beers! For a ?fast food? bbq place it?s good. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean and I did enjoy the brisket with... macaroni and cheese. My client was happy we stopped in on rib bone Tuesday. So if you like rib bones they are on special everyTuesday. Read more
Been coming here since this locatIon opened and they have always been great. After the service I received today, this will be my... last time at a City BBQ. My food sat on the counter for 15 minutes before I was even acknowledged. Meanwhile, three differentcustomers walked in for pick up and were immediately helped. Read more
My daughter visited this location after visiting me (her mom) in the hospital. She arrived near closing time and asked if it was... too late to order. She was a waitress in college and NYC and was not fond of peoplethat came near closing. The manager Cedrictold her that she was fine to order. He then asked her how her day was and she shared with him that I was in hospital and shehad a sick toddler at home in Durham. Long story short he prayed with her and comforted her when she cried. He did somethingelse that was unbelievable but I won't go into that. He and his staff made her day. After discharge from hospital we went therefor dinner. The food was So good. Food was good and portions were good size. Loved the sauce in the Lolo BBQ sandwich. Only reasons for the 3 star is we found a... huge bone in the BbQ sandwich. I know some get by, but this was big. Also, we asked for to go boxes and they actually gave usa box. Not something good for meat with sauce on it. They have plastic to go containers but you have to specifically ask forthem. Read more
Awesome BBQ place. BBQ is tasty and the servings are satisfying. They have many sides to choose from with my personal favorite... being their mac & cheese. Their variety of sauces is also very nice. Wait time has never been an issue for the times I've been. Read more
