We love this place! It's a stones throw from my house and the only place I get pho. The flavor is great. Portions are good. I... love the spring rolls with the peanut sauce. Egg rolls are pretty good too. I have dined in and gotten to go orders and nomatter what the food comes out fast and the service is regularly friendly. Huntersville is lucky to have you. Decided to try this since my usual pho place isn't available at the moment. Probably won't be back. They make you order at the... counter before you can sit, the menu is taped to the wall behind you when your facing the counter. Most of which is blacked outwith marker. Ordered and told to sit wherever we wanted. Took about 15 minutes to get just the drinks, then another 10 minutesto get 1 of the starters we ordered, never got the second one. Took another 35-40 minutes to be served our main course, whichwas 2 fatty brisket/meatball Pho size large, was glad to find fish sauce at the table. The broth and meat were good, the noodleswere a little stiff. We thought it was strange we didn't get the usual bean sprouts/basil/jalapeno plate to go with our pho, andright after we commented on that the tables around us were served with the veg plate and garlic paste. We asked the waitresswhere ours was and she got it for us. We finished our food, stacked our plates at the end, Sat there for a few minutes not surehow to pay, finally got up to counter, no one was there so my husband opened and closed the door to make it sound and theyfinally came to the counter, we paid and left. This review is not for food? it?s for cleanliness. My family and I came in to eat dinner tonight, super excited about our... favorite? Vietnamese cuisine! My toddler daughter needed to use the restroom while we were trying to decide what to order. Weopened the bathroom door and were immediately taken aback with how nasty it was in there. She even commented on it, which I?venever heard her do before. I wiped the seat and tried to cover it enough to make it ?cleaner? for her little bottom to sit on,but the experience in there just made me sick to my stomach. The smell was awful? stale urine. I came out to talk with myhusband about what to order for the kids, and ultimately decided if that was the one restroom that the employees were using aswell, I wasn?t so comfortable eating the food they prepared. I felt bad to leave without buying anything, especially afteralready using the restroom (now that I see other reviews commenting on bathroom use), but my intentions were 100% to eat there,until I experienced the restroom. I hope this review is helpful for the owners, to know customers need to have confidence inestablishment cleanliness, not limited to the dining area. Read more
Clean place, food was good, decent to small portions for what you pay (compared with other Vietnamese restaurants). Not too many... options to choose from, but what you get is tasty. No menus available at the tables, just a menu on the window at the entrance.The lady who took the order (I'm assuming she was the owner) was friendly. The Pho soup is delicious. Service is timely as well. The owners could stand to organize and clear the place up a bit.
