I like chinese buffets. This review is strictly for the buffet. They have an extensive menu and have a strong carry out... business. They usually offer the same items every day on the buffet. I don't notice changes if there are. I eat here usuallyonce a week. They also have a lunch carry out box for around $10 that is a nice change of pace for a work lunch. They offerstandard chinese buffet items. Mostly variations of chicken dishes with some beef and pork. None of them are outstanding butnone of them are terrible. They never have sweet and sour on the buffet. I wish they did but thats a personalpreference.. They have a soup bar where you can build your own wonton soup and i like their hot and sour. Desserts, freshfruit ice cream, chinese donuts, American foods like breaded fish, garlic bread, stuffed mushrooms etc.. It's all therestandard buffet style. I won't recommend a buffet ... any buffet ... to anyone because everyone has their own opinion onbuffets. But i like it. Im glad we have them in huntington and i will continue to support them. Give them a try. Support alocal business. Stop in and pick up a carry out menu. Eat in or carry out. If you are reading this you should try it so youcan form your own opinion. Read more

Take out has been the best way to enjoy the food . The buffet isn't as fresh. Some of the portions have changed as an example,... the egg rolls are almost have the size of what they were. The food is prepared quickly and is hot for take out orders. Read more

We have eaten here a few times. There is a nice assortment of food. Easy to get to & plenty of parking. Restroom is always... clean. Not too busy. Only drawback for us- food is often NOT HOT ENOUGH. When fresh food comes out it is hot. But it does notstay hot. Only reason for 4stars. Read more

Horrible service. Cold, old food from day before. No trays were fresh and the ones that had food were crusted over like they had... been sitting forever. We came with 5 kids so we couldn't not let them eat but we did let them know and they had a shamelessattitude about it. Asked for a discount since most food trays were empty anyways, and management refused. They trays picturedwere like that for 45 minutes. Disgusting. Never again. Rather go to Wabash or Fort Wayne. Great Wall has been a staple of Huntington for over a decade. They are the sole survivor of the great Chinese Buffet wars of... the early 2000's, when King's Garden and Hong Kong duked it out for the hearts and stomachs of Huntington's hungriestcitizens. They feature a rather average buffet with all of your typical westernized Chinese dishes spread across 4 tables and awhole section for ice cream. If you come during peak times, the food is hot and fresh. Come before closing or on otheroff-times and you might get some old stuff or a smaller selection. The food is good, but nothing special in the Chinese Buffetworld. It's pretty consistent with that you'd find elsewhere. The crab rangoon is outstanding, as is their fried fish. Theowner seems like he's always there. That guy is one of the hardest working people in town. All of the staff are courteous andtimely with service. You don't have many choices in Huntington, but fortunately your only one is pretty decent. Read more
