I was looking forward to a good Italian meal so I decided to try Jonathan’s. I ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese and Tiramisu... for dessert. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the sauce was flavorful, however Parmesan cheese could have been included. MyTiramisu was unfortunately melted when it arrived to me. I was disappointed one of my favorite desserts didn’t turn out theway it should have. I paid over $50 for this meal, including delivery. For the price I expected better quality. Read more
We've been coming here for decades and it keeps getting better. Wonderful food, wine and service. Their daily specials are... consistently good as well. Love their artichoke appetizer, salmon or duck entrees, and flourless chocolate cake. Read more
Waiters is super nice, there kids so I respect the hustle and grind, the restaurant setup is cool. But the food was a$$.... Honestly I’m not Italian but I lived in Queens and compare to the Italian restaurant there to this restaurant is nothing. So Ican basically can tell what is good food or not. Very limited menu which I was skeptical about that idea. Seriously this placecan do better. If they can add more dishes. And try to stick with classical stuff. But then again these two stores goesdirectly to the waiter and the vibe of the restaurant. Read more
Truly amazing! Service was absolutely fantastic - everyone was smiling and friendly and helpful and thoughtful! The food was... perfect! We got the three appetizer specials - scallops were divine, oysters were great and the mignonette and cocktail saucewere remarkable as well. The meat and cheese platter was fresh and piled high. For entrees, we got the freshest fish! Thebranzino was lovely - just the right amount of the delicious sauce! Lastly, the lava cake with coffee ice cream wasscrumptious! Went here for my friend's birthday. We had a good time and enjoyed the food. I would recommend this resturant to my friends and... family and I would go again. I ordered the duck and it was delicious. This place have a great atmosphere and customer service. Read more
My husband wanted Jonathan's double pork chop for his birthday dinner. We do not yet eat indoors at restaurants, but we have... been doing takeout for a long time now, to support favorite eateries. We had not attempted taking out a fancy dinner, tho, hopedthat entrees and Burrata appetizer would travel well. The chops were massive and perfectly done, as usual. Vegetables/potatoesand glaze needed reheating, as one would expect on such a cold day. The Burrata appetizer was a disappointment, tho. The ball ofcheese and 5 slices of tomato in a box didn't look like much even once plated, and the fresh basil was missing entirely. For$15, it's not something we will order again. Once we feel safe, we will be back in person for sure. Read more
