Came here for a party. The food never stopped coming. Everything was very delicious, service was great!

Recommend by a close friend we picked up food on the way to visit locals. This place confuses me. On one hand they advertise... “Family Style” dining/dishes, on the other hand, they price their “entrees” mid range as if to draw you in, but prepareyourself as you will be disappointed from time to time. At $29.75 you would think that’s a great price for a plate of ChickenFranchese that serves 2-4 ppl. However(And I wish I had taken a picture), the portion did not commensurate with theexpectation. The dish was presented in one of those, normal, half tray like, containers you would get when you order cateredfood. When I opened it up I found 3 regular sized pieces of Chicken, hardly enough for 2, nevermind, 4. I’m not saying thefood was bad, I enjoyed some of it, but if I went back there I would likely try dining in as opposed to take out. I understandthe Restaurant business is tough, and times have changed how ppl do Business. But you’re in Huntington/Woodbury, no one isbarking about prices. Just offer them the best experience possible and you’ll continue to see the doors swing open andclosed. Restaurants can no longer rely on history/reputation alone. The industry is extremely competitive and ppl are quick totake their dollar elsewhere. 11/7/22 - Response to your reply to my review as I am unaware how else to show due diligencenavigating through this site. Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I did call shortly after I arrived home and openedthe tray of chicken. I spoke to an employ, identified myself, and questioned them regarding my order. I was told that my orderwas correct, and, that was, indeed, the family size portion. All the staff was very professional and... friendly my server was Chris, He had full knowledge of The menu and specials everything he recommended was amazing. HANDS DOWN our FAVORITE GO-TO restaurant!!! Food is ALWAYS ON POINT AND DELISH! The wait staff is always the sweetest and the... portions are perfect for me and my hunnnnies BIG APPETITE!! Actually, we usually can’t decide what to order (becauseEVERYTHING IS SOOOOO GOOOD!!) so we tend to OVER ORDER!! HELLO~~ LEFT OVERS~~WAHOOOOO!! We ALWAYS order the baked clams as theyare AMAZING (go for the 12 NOT 6!!)!!! The burrata with figs AMAZEEEE!! Caesar salad WITH the anchovies AMAZEEEEE!!! The trufflepasta with shrimp AMAZEEEEE (forget your keto diet for the night with this one- at least I do LOL!!!), lamb chops AMAZEEEE ANDthe veal chop stuffed with lots of something- I forget the name but it’s a long word and ask the staff they will know whatyou’re talking about!! I tried to write La Parma separately but cannot locate an email address. I've been going to La Parma since back in the 80's and... if there is one thing I can say, the food is consistently delicious. My disappointment today was that they did not allow me tobuy a single order of calamari on Mother's Day. There were only 2 of us and my daughter is gluten free so I was not about toorder myself a huge platter of calamari. For the shrimp La Parma, we wanted to get 1/2 order of regular pasta and 1/2 order ofgluten free pasta but the waitress shut that right down. She didn't even go in the back to check to see if it was possible sowe had to order it with gluten free pasta which I do not eat... The place was not overly crowded this early on Mother's Day soI was extremely disappointed that they could not accommodate as they have in the past. If the waitress had at least tried tocheck with the kitchen I think we would've felt a little better about it. Her coldness left us with a lousy feeling. The foodwas delicious as always and for that I would give FIVE stars, but I wasn't able to fully enjoy my Mother's Day meal as I wasdunking bread into the shrimp dish since I do not eat gluten free pasta.... I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. I didtalk to people behind the bar explaining that they should have mentioned this when we were making a reservation and we were toldthey are supposed to. My wife and I went to La Parma II for the first time ever, and we did it on Valentines day evening for dinner. First of all, we... loved the ambience of the facility. It was warm, very family like, and we were greeted with smiles, hello's and HappyValentines the moment we stepped in. We really felt like we were among family and friends there. Second, the food was amazing! I chose La Parma II because of it's reviews and I couldn't have been more right in my selection for our Valentines eveningdinner plans. The veal was so light and tender, as well as out of this world as far as taste and presentation. My complimentsto the Chef as it was perfect!! Third, our waiter Chris was simply amazing, and so attentive to our evening out. He wasknowledgeable about the menu items, the specials rolled off his tongue like it was second nature, and he was just an amazingwaiter who really did a wonderful job in taking great care of us, as well as adding to our really great evening out. Well doneChris!! You made us feel so welcome. Not to mention he was also on top of his game and getting to all his tables in a timelymanner. I can happily say that we will be coming back again and again to this wonderful Italian restaurant to enjoy all theother menu items as well as bringing as many friends as we can so they can also discover and enjoy this amazing place.
