This used to be our "go to" pizzeria. Unfortunately the food quality has dropped off. The Mediterranean salad I ordered,... contained old looking lettuce which was brown. I asked the counter person if I could get a new salad with fresh lettuce. He saidthe old brown lettuce was all they had. I ate it, but got an upset stomach shortly after finishing. Poor food quality controlat a restaurant unacceptable. We will not be returning. Read more
Food is good but service has gone down hill. They don't bring out all alcoholic drinks at the same time and always make one... person in the group wait what seems to be a long time for theirs. Sometimes everyone is done with their drinks before the lastone comes out. We can see that persons drink waiting for pickup at the bar too. Same with bringing plates of food, andclearing dirty dishes from the table, bringing and leaving checks, etc. They don't ask how you are paying and automatically addon the credit card charge. We never skimp on tip. Some of my friends refuse to eat here any more because the service is sosketchy. There are so many other places with better food and service to spend our hard earned money on in Huntington. Read more

Portofino has been my favorite place to grab a slice of pizza in Huntington for a number of years now. Pizza is always great and... the few times I've sat down for dinner in the restaurant portion the pasta has been great with very generous portions. The lastfew times I've stopped in, the guy working the counter at the front has seemed a bit rude, kind of like he doesn't want to bethere. Otherwise, experiences have always been great. Read more
Best pizza place in Huntington in my opinion. Try the bbq chicken slice. Get it fresh out of the oven. Wow. Literally... perfection. Have been going here for years. Takeout food only. Great slices and great salads. My favorite is the Buffalo chickensalad. The bbq chicken slice was super soft. Not too sweet and had a nice tang to it. Wow! Porto Fino on New York Avenue, Huntington, has lots to offer diners here. To start, they make a good pizza. So if that is your... go-to must-have, you won't be disappointed as they serve up quite the variety of choices, including personal pizzas. They madeupon request an appetizer of Fried Ravioli. Deliciously crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Two of us chose a crispCaesar salad with plenty of shaved parmigiana cheese. For our entrees, we ordered Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken Francese, ChickenVerde, and Penne ala Vodka with Broccoli and Sausage. Each dish was flavorful, moist, and seasoned well. Omg- horrible-we go out to dinner often - this was our second time here, both times recommended by these same friends.first time... just ok- remember the wine not being good-same friends recommend the muscles so we went back with friends.big mistake - the hostwas also our waiter- he was to say the least preoccupied. The busboy might not speak English but just smiled and shook his headyes to everything.-The muscles were the most disgusting thing I have ever and I mean ever put into my mouth. And when we toldthe waiter , his response was yeah- the big muscles aren’t good!!!! What!!!!???? Ok so maybe don’t offer them!!!!!!???? Thebottle of wine we ordered was taken off the bill by our waiter as a courtesy but he never told us he was doing that to makethings better ,which I find odd. The busboy was removing our plates as we were still eating our other entrees and extending hisarm across our plates .I do not blame the staff-but I do blame the owner for poor management. I will NEVER, EVER ,EVER go backhere again not even for a slice of pizza- the only thing I can think of is that maybe they changed ownership ??? Also- our tipdid not reflect in the bad food or poor service - somethings are out of the control of the waitstaff .
