We hosted a private party at Konoba yesterday for my parents 50th anniversary. I cannot emphasize enough how incredible the... food was. Everyone was raving about it! It was absolutely perfect. Do not skip this restaurant when looking for somewhere togo in Huntington. Everything from the gnocchi to the seafood to even the french fries and chicken fingers for the kids werecooked perfectly. Saw that there was an outdoor eating option where each table was isolated in its own structure with a door to enter. We decided... to stop by and were blown away! We celebrated Easter at Konoba with a party of 9 for brunch. The food is consistently good and the service is great. Our... waitress was very attentive and sweet. The bacon wrapped dates are to die for and their extensive Croatian beer and wine list isa fun new experience. A new go to local restaurant for us new Huntington residents! Read more
Love this restaurant, which is authentic Croatian. This is would have been our second visit and we will be back again and again.... Food is great, service is great and good atmosphere. For our appetizers we he had the Bacon wrapped dates, these are so tasty. For our entrees, we had seafood stew, this is really so satisfying, and served with a warm pitta. Would definitely recommend. Previous owners of bin56 stepping up into full service restaurant. Nice place, good food and atmosphere. We went overboard on... the apps, getting beer cheese soup, bavarian pretzel and flatbread pizza. I had the seafood fettuccini special. They have abig wine offering (specialising in croatian wines) but their wine by the glass menu is a little limited. Delicious nutellacrepe desert. Read more
Wanted to try this place for a long time, unfortunately I was not happy. There seems to be 4 or 5 servers working, but only 1... server lady taking orders, making drinks, greeting people and sitting them down, (Don't get me wrong, she worked her behindoff) , but she was doing everything by herself.The owner came later and helped greet people. Even when the restaurant started toget busy she was doing everything herself and the other servers(?) not. She took orders rung them up on computer took time, Iwas a bit neglected, I could have drank 2 more beers. I ordered fries with my dinner, it never came, the wife ordered margarita pizza, it came drenched with tomato sauce and well done to the point where you could not bite without extremely hard crunch, itwas burnt. Ordered dessert the server forgot my ice cream and did not have my sons ice cream, so we ordered a different one,never came. I cancelled my ice cream. The small menu or appetizers, extremely small portions and expensive. Grilled octopus(1small tentacle) 29 bucks, it was tasty. Two kids and 2 adults 300 bucks, not including tip. However, I was impressed with theselection of wines and beers and liquor from Croatia. The tables are wedged so close that people next to you look like they arewith you. I was actually hungry after I left. The bar is not that big, maybe 8 barstools so, If you want to come with yourfriends and drink at the bar ahhhhhh. Also the chicken and polenta for main course, good size portion but chicken thigh was notgood combo, I know it's a mediterranean thing to use a thigh, but I was not loving it. Read more
