Went as part of a party of around a dozen for lunch. We got a few appetizers to share around and try, full of flavour. I went... for the butter chicken with medium hotness. Good portion, just enough to fill the need without leaving anything to waste. I'veyet to find an Indian restaurant here in America that serves papadums, they were a staple back in England. The only reasons to give 4 stars rather than 5 is the waiter mixed up our... food with some other table and it was awkward because they switched our food after it was dropped off even though nobody atefrom it, it was still awkward. This food is like medicine for me. The spices are wonderful. The mango lassi is a truly delicious drink to go along with the... meal. The only thing is the staff there always seems too stressed and uptight. Maybe loosen up a little bit. You’ve got a goodthing and people enjoy it so let the good vibes flow somewhat more. Great food. The service was wonderful. The decor, especially the art is beautiful. The food was excellent! They have a dinner for two on the... combo menu - we got it non-vegetarian (they also offer vegetarian). We got lamb (choice of chicken too) curry (great). It alsocame with samosas (potato dumplings- excellent), chicken and shrimp tandoori (good), chicken tikka (amazing!), and pistachio icecream (lovely). I was let down, the samosa chat was amazing. So many good flavors of spices and nice spicy level. But when the lamb currie and... chicken madras came it took a nose dive. Very disappointing such a great appetizer. The currie tasted like coriander no hint ofany currie. The sauce looks very unappealing like slop. People were friendly but I was there for the food. OMG! The samosas we're amazing, they were definitely made in house. The restaurant was emaculate. Clean, and had a great... atmosphere. I had the curry chicken mild. It was amazing!! Definitely made in house. The naan was fire baked, I could taste theperfect crunch of fire baked! The spices and seasonings were like a live performance on my tongue. It was extremely tasty, andvery well balanced. Nothing was overwhelmed. I paid $28 for a meal with samosas as an appetizer, curry chicken as my mainentree.
