The server was friendly which was a plus. Double charging for my coworkers burrito was not so good but she did refund it once it... was pointed out. I thought $40 for a burrito, chips and a drink was a bit much. I ordered the clam chowder and a fish taco.Something in the clam chowder tasted off. Just nit what I was hoping for at all. Not so good and I didn't finish it. 1 star forthe chowder. I probably should have said something to see what they would have done about it. Fish taco was the breaded versionand very good. Nice mix of flavors. My co-worker let me try her burrito and the rice was on point. Premium sushi rice whichmixed well with the other ingredients and very tasty overall. My whole family loves this place. Fish burrito is killer, chips and guac, sushi, it's all good. The last 2 times we went, ... they were understaffed at the sushi bar so everyone else in my family was completely finished eating by the time the sushi cameout, so that kind of sucks, but I know staffing is tough right now. We'll be back, with sweatshirts... the outdoor diningarea is always windy and cold, even midsummer, but great views make it worth it. Read more

Ordered clam chowder. They were out of bread and subbed tortilla chips, which were tasty but wish they have offered salsa.... Chowder was good and really hot. For the smallest chowder and a bottle of water it was $10 +tip. Not a great deal, but quick andconvenient. Read more
I?m no stranger to Bear Flag, but this was our first visit to the Huntington Beach location and man did they pick a great... spot. The bar and outdoor seating areas have epic views of Huntington Beach and Pier. Grab an IPA or a class of Sauc Blanc andsoak it in. Per usual the food didn?t disappoint. It?s definitely a casual vibe and they have poke and ceviche for a quick grabwhether you?re heading to the beach or going home to enjoy their fish. We ordered the ahi poke, guac and chips and fish tacos.All delish! This place got it goin on. So make sure you come with a great attitude, enjoy the food and tip the staff! Read more
