Update 11/18/2022: Went back for the prime rib special dinner and again same manager up front chatting away with staff and no... host. He looked at us, said hi, then went back to chatting. Host came back about 20 seconds later to seat us. Dinner and serverwere great as usual. Walked in during late lunch hour on Friday. Hostess was on the phone with customer. 2 take out girlsstanding around chatting with manager about non related work stuff. Stood there and waited to be greeted, but no luck. Managerlooked at me then went back to chatting it up with 2 take out girls. No other customer waiting. Host guy comes in from sweepingup outside and said he'll be right with us while manager still chatting in front of me. Finally host sat us while other hostesswas rightfully occupied with customer on the phone. Waitress was awesome. Food was consistent as always. I live out of state and visit So. Calif. once a year and always visit BJs Brewhouse. I loved the Califlower and Quinoa Bowl and... enjoyed my annual Chocolate Chip Pizookie. The healthy dinner justifies being able to enjoy the dessert with no guilt. Therestaurant appeared to be understaffed and there was no manager presence. Wide selection of menu, friendly staff, good environment. The resturant has a full bar but they also have rootbeer and ginger... ale. I had the kale brussel sprout salad and a california club sandwich with french fries and strawberry lemonade for two. Thefood was tasty and delicious. Went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The food was good. The spinach artichoke dip with chips and Bbq wings were very tasty.... One thing I enjoyed was that it being NFL season, all the staff had on their team’s jerseys. They had a lot of TV screensshowing every game you could think of. A good environment if you’re looking for good food and a place to watch the game. Theservers were also very friendly. One thing I did notice though was that their floors were very slippery.
