The food overall was pretty good. It can get a little pricey. They do have small portions (feeds up to 3) and large portions... (feeds up to 5) The pictures are of the chicken marsala, lasagna, garlic cheese bread, calamari, ice cream sundae, tiramisu,cheesecake and chocolate cake. It's hard to tell by the pics, but the chicken, lasagna and the desserts were pretty bigportions. I really like the Italian atmosphere inside. As far parking, it's somewhat limited behind Buca, but there is a parkinggarage off to the side. Just FYI - I parked in the garage for a little over 2 hours and it was $12.50. Buca does validate yourparking ticket, but only up to ten dollars. Read more

Our server was amazing, she made the whole experience/birthday the best. We ordered a couple different plates since we were a... group of 12. Our appetizers were perfectly baked and the cheese was beautifully melted on all the dishes. We had more thanenough to share and everyone enjoyed their and finished their food, even the little ones ! The service here is great the hostess that seated me was friendly and full of energy and the server was very calm and relaxed... and it has a great atmosphere that fits an American Italian feel. The price on the menus looks high however the meals feed 2-5people. The food does lack the real Italian flavors but it’s defiantly better than Olive Garden. As others has suggested itdoes have the out of the box taste and the chicken taste like turkey but all in all it’s fairly good. Read more

The restaurant is right next to freeway 405 and is really convenience. Plenty of parking spaces with a huge parking structure.... They offer home made Italian food. Spaghetti with half pound meet ball is ones of their most favorite. We tried lasagna,spaghetti meet ball, and shrimp fra diabolo. We swapped the spaghetti with fettuccine which is a flat bigger pasta. We like theshrimp the most. They are handicap friendly facility. Read more

Let me start by saying we were a party of 8 that could not get seated at the Bucca in Anaheim so we called Huntington Beach and... they said they would seat us and gave us a reservation, awesome!! When we arrived at we had about a 10 min wait and then wasseated. Right away we could see that our waitress was overwhelmed. She was happy and energetic but definitely overwhelmed. Weordered drinks, 2 calamari’s and 3 different salads to start and asked for house bread. The calamari never came and we onlygot bread at the end of the meal. Our waitress was doing 90% of the work on our floor, she was the waitress, the bus boy, theentertainment and a runner. Other employees were just wandering around lost. She did it all, we even watched as she basicallyhad to beg fellow workers to sing happy birthday to the guests. Our waitress deserves 5 stars by far, she was in tears at theend of the night, we asked the manager to check on our calamari and we asked her to remove it from our bill because it nevercame so she thought we were upset with her and I explained to her that we can tell that she is doing her best and we see theother employees sitting around and waking around doing next to nothing, she cried. She then cleared all of the dishes from ourtable by her self, it sounds like I’m being dramatic, but we went to Bucca tonight to celebrate my daughters birthday and allwe could focus on is how 1 employee is being run ragged, customers are upset and other workers are not pitching in andmanagement doesn’t care. To top it off it’s her job to sweep the carpet with a broom as part of her side work. Our waitressis a strong proud mother working to put her kids through college, who is very good at her job! HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I don't know if it's a lack of ingredients or loss of a chef due to covid, but the food was terrible!!! ... I used to love their meatballs, but the meatballs on this night were awful tasting. It's like they added too much bread crumbsand less meat. The stuffed pasta shells were awful too. I expected the taste of Italian sausage, but instead it was anoverwhelming taste of cheese and nasty seasoning. The marinara sauce on both the pasta and meatballs was watery. The breadbrought to our table wasn't hot/warm and it didn't taste fresh. We were there for my birthday dinner, so for dessert we used acoupon for a massive ice cream dessert. The brownies were stale and somewhat hard. I was surprised that they say it's just to atable with a large group; and then they say about large group at the table across from us. Recently went here for my wife's birthday and I can say this, I've heard tons of rave reviews of this place and I can definitely... see what all the hype is about. I was really impressed with the impressive details to the old Town Italy look they tend to gowith. The atmosphere feels like you're being transported into a small but rather large family restraunt. The food was reallywell done and the pizza although I didn't get a picture of was fantastic, you can definitely tell its brick fire oven style.Lastly the environment is very clean and well kept and the staff is very friendly and welcoming our waitress was simply elegantand extremely good. I wish I'd gotten her name but she was a hostess and waitress. Great first impressions if you are in the arestop by and give it a try! Read more
