The food has always been good but today I ordered the red curry & requested mild spice. It was so spicy hot ???? I couldn’t... eat it. At first the waitress tried to explain that Thai spices are hot. I replied back I’ve had red curry many times beforeat other restaurants and it has never been so spicy hot especially when ordering mild. She was reluctant to take it back, I hadto ask her can you please make it milder I can’t eat it. I think all they did was add some coconut milk to it. Needless to saymy mouth was burning so I asked for a glass of water because I had drank all of my Thai tea but Instead of bringing me a glassof water she brings a pitcher of water and pours it into the same glass I drank my iced tea from. The water looked all mucky andcloudy. Food is good there but the service was not up to par. Read more
The Green Curry was phenomenal. I got medium and the spice level was perfect. Wonton Soup broth is SO YUMMY
Their yellow curry, lunch special, is absolutely excellent! It’s the best yellow curry I’ve had yet.

Great Thai place. Wife and I were just walking by and looked at the menu. Some random people walking out said, "We're Thai and... this is good." Sold! And we agree. Everything was very good. Forgot to take a pic of the main course, which was beef andbroccoli in an oyster sauce. The staff was very friendly and eager to please. Definitely going again soon. Read more
Issara Thai was very very good! I live and have wanted to try it and i got my chance, i wasn't disappointed. We started with the... Bangkok cups which were a perfect little app. I had my thai staple which is Crying Tiger. Simple but so delicious at Issara, themeat had a great char flavor but also was juicy and tender cooked perfectly. The chicken pad thai also made an appearance at ourtable. We order a level 4 out of 5 for spiciness, but it was not hot enough. The noodles were cooked nicely and all of theingredients were fresh! I would recomend this thai restaurant to any and all! This was my first time at Issara Thai Cuisine, and I was pleased and surprised at how good the food is. I have been to Thailand... four times and am sorry to say that most of the Thai Restaurants in Orange County don't even come close to the restaurantsanywhere in Thailand. Issara is definitely comparable to Thailand cuisine. I had the Tom Kha Kai (Chicken Coconut soup) and theBangkok Cup Appetizer. Both were excellent. I will be going back soon to enjoy more of items on their extensive menu. Theservice was excellent. Any lover of Thai Food should definitely try this restaurant. You will enjoy it. Read more
