Ransom was recommended by lots of neighbors and they are right. Ramain39 has great food in a relaxing, neighborhood bar and... restaurant. We started with appetizers- frame, tempura fried vegetables and shrimp. Brought half of them home. Love theirdecor for Halloween. I keep forgetting that this place exists. It?s actually pretty good, and probably the best value within a 20 mile radius. The... portions are about the same as the large at Santoka Ramen (my #1) at the Mitsuwa Market which you have to pay extra for; $3higher than Ramain39. Also, I was impressed by the pork, thick tender and creamy. They also have a lunch deal on the weekdays,I need to go back for. Adding the fact that I basically drive pass this place five days a week it makes sense for me to drop byfor my ramen cravings instead of driving all the way out to Costa Mesa. Read more
Food was terrible, told me they had big noodle Ramen. I explained just to make sure, they confirmed they knew what I meant, ... and I order a14$ Ramen bowl or plate and I basically get pho. We had 2 ramens and 1 Vegas roll, which has eel. I really recommend the eel roll. It?s very delicious.

We love this place! Great service and great food! Our kids and we love the ramen. You get to choose from pork, chicken or beef... and the level of spiciness.
