This place is sooo yummy and very good for the price!! We got a salmon & avocado roll and tuna tataki and WOW the tuna tataki... was my favorite it was so good the sushi also is very good and you can tell the ingredients are A1. The fried banana for desertis also a MUST. Read more
My girlfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice sushi dinner, on our first night in Huntington Beach. Our wait was less... than 10 minutes at peak hours. We ordered a lot and it was brought out to us in less than 10 minutes. The sushi, itself, wasfresh tasting and very good. There were plenty of rolls to choose from and a delicious selection of Sake. Our waiter wasfriendly and very attentive. He even gave us a complimentary bottle of hot sake at the end of our meal. I will definitely begoing again despite living out of state. The sushi is good and it's downtown which is a good location if you want to bar hop after. The prices are also decent, only... giving 4 stars because there are some higher quality sushi locations in the area. Read more
Best sushi I?ve ever had, far better than any Nobu. The beach boy roll and Halloween were extra good. Not to mention the superb... service!! Sushi came out so much faster than expected at peak time! Definitely will have to come back. Read more
Very pleased & full every time I have been here. Start off with the spicy edamame and pork gyoza. I always get the 3 Companies... Roll, Main Street Roll, & Sexy Roll (I always substitute seaweed for soy paper.) On weekends & nights it gets crowded soprepare to wait for a little. They definitely have a nice selectipn of rolls. I have always heard good things about this place from mamy different people. I... finally tried it. They were all right! It was also packed! Luckily I arrived when I did. The hostess told me that we'd have towait about 25 minutes. 2 minutes later, my phone was buzzing. After us, though, there was a wait. They have many tables, though.Ever since the pandemic pushed restaurants to either stay closed or have outdoor dining, most restaurants on Main Street optedto do the outdoor thing and it was the best thing that happened to them. I think they have more seating now with outdoor diningand the atmosphere is completely different. Good food, good service. Good experience. You get them all here! Read more
Although the name might seem like an oxymoron or a misnomer (after all, WHO would put some fresh sushi ON fire?), the reality is... that this place is, as the urban youth of today would say, bussin' bussin'. There are options galore, from the aptly andobviously named "Refreshing roll" (which, if you're not careful, can kick your butt with those tiny but mighty jalapeños thatthey place on top of the rolls) to the intriguing "Girl On The Beach roll" and the disconcerting "Station 42 roll". There's also"Beach Boy roll" (maybe a member of the Beach Boys? Or just the significant other of the aforementioned Girl On The Beach one?),and "New York New York roll". With options galore, reasonable prices and great services, you may not leave this place speakingfluent Japanese but you will surely leave it satisfied and happier. ??????? Read more
