Got a hankering for some Thai on the way home from the Huntington Beach air show. Saw this on Google maps and figured why... not? A few small tables inside, mostly set up for takeout. Food was great, made quickly and fresh. Prices were reasonable.Recommended. Read more
We live in San Clemente and still drive to Thai Pepper anytime we're passing by. This place is unbeatable with consistently... delicious dishes, the dishes are always hot and fresh with fresh ingredients. Plus, the gentleman working at the front is thekindest! Used to come all the time, maybe prices have gone up, but no problem, we would pay to support small businesses. But today we... tossed entire order out. sweet sour chicken is fried 1st then sauce on the side, ok no problem except there was not enough sauceto coat the very doughy chicken. Fried won tons is tasty, but w very little meat in it, egg roll was over golden fried like thechicken almost like the oil was too hot and it was over cooked? green salad was yellow/ borderline brown edges. Tossed all of itin trash! Staff was apologetic and offered to give credit...but then continue d on to say that over all the years they've beenin business, they've never had anyone complain about sweet sour chicken? ??? That's a big no no is to offer to make right with atwist of disbelief from you. This has happened before But we thought it was just the one time and then here we are months laterand it's even worse.
