Beef shack usually has great food, and great service. However, I got zero napkins, my chicken sandwich barely had anything more... than a drop of Chipotle mayo, and thier food is now unaffordable, $9.60 for a chicken sandwich is highway robbery. I pay thatmuch for airport food. I added a slice of cheese and my total was $11.44 for just a sandwich! No fries, no drink. If I wanted adrink and fries it would be nearly $20 for one person!! We used to come here as a family but not anymore, a casual fast foodmeal for 3 plus a shake is just too much... As much as I love the food I wont be coming here much anymore except on the rareoccasion. Such a shame as we love it. Beef Shack is a great location for burger, but they also have a wide variety of food choices. The portions are really good for... the prices and the beef is high quality meat. I've been to Beef Shack on several occasions and have never had anything less thana good experience. Read more

Great place. My wife's beef sandwich was excellent. My hot dogs were pretty good but not quite Portillos good. The fries... however.....wow. They are worth any drive. Fantastic. Definitely plan to go back on our trips down 90 to Chicago. Read more
NEW UPDATE 9/15: Well, I went back because I love the food, but I don't think I'll ever go back to the Huntley location! I went... through the drive thru for my chicken sandwich, soda and fries. I had to wait for the food in spot #1, which is fine. But,when I tried my soda I realized it was totally flat?! I went inside and said, the soda is flat. The response I got from Sarah,the cashier, was "We don't have any carbonation." I then asked, "Why would you sell me a soda if you knew there was nocarbonation?" She said, "Some people drink it like that".....WHAT?? SERIOUSLY? I can't believe that I heard that response. Ican't believe she would be taking people's money when she knows there's no carbonation. I told her that she should tell peopleso they are aware. This is ridiculous. She was snotty and unapologetic. I am done with this location. It's been problemafter problem. I enjoy the food too much to stop going. After talking to the manager, Aly, she advised to try the new locationon Randall, which I will happily do. I won't waste my time or money at the Huntleylocation. ---------------------------------------------------- I've been enjoying beef shack for some time. I really like thechicken sandwiches and frequently buy for myself and family. However, there's usually always something wrong with the order.Either something is missing or tomatoes included when they shouldn't. I've called a few times and had my food credited, butafter today i don't think i can keep going. Today i ordered my usual chicken sandwich, no tomato, add mozzarella and an extraside of chipotle mayo. I ask for extra because there's usually barely any on there. My total today was $19. It was +$1 for mozz,+$1 for extra chipotle mayo, and extra for cheese for fries. What bugs me is that i have to order the extra because there's nextto none on the sandwich. See my picture. Ate here for the first time today and the burgers at this place are no-joke. The bacon cheeseburger was huge, fresh, and super... tasty. The fries were just okay with lots of small ends and pieces, but not too many larger sizes for dipping. Overall a goodexperience and will be back again for lunch in the future. Read more
Excellent boardwalk-style fries, the Cheesy Beef on Garlic is unorthodox, but delicious, especially dipped.
