Everything was great until the lady with too much pink hair-dye told me I had a fake wrist band on, denied to make me a drink... and later reached over the bar to rip a drink out of my hand that I bought at the outdoor bar. Is there a new law saying youhave to look 21 or is it still you have to be 21? Shortly after she called over a security guard (Will) to kick me out butluckily Will was patient enough to hear me out and realized she was out of line and bought me a new drink. First time going toT.T.F. was almost ruined because a bar tender couldn?t hold her emotions together and wanted to act like a child. So after so many people suggesting we try Parkside for their amazing ribs and delicious burgers we finally decided to try it... last night. We ordered through door dash originally as their site directed us to do. Door dash was a nightmare! What wassupposed to take 25 min for delivery turned into an hour. They notified us that there was no dasher and that they were lookingfor one. For 20 min we got this message after waiting an hour with no update! So finally after and hour and 20 min and not beingable to get a hold of a representative.. we cancelled the order. I called Parkside right away and explained the situation. I wassuper irritated at Door dash. The girl who answered the phone was great! I explained that I didn't want the food that had beensitting for an hour and a half and she had no issues having it remade. When we got there they had a fresh order ready for us andeven gave us the cold order for what it was worth. She was so pleasant and not rude or anything because of my request. The foodwas AMAZING! The burgers were HUGE! and cooked exactly how we asked. They were not dry and had good flavor. The pulled porksmelled great as well. I didn't eat it but my son said it was really good and much bigger than he expected it to be. I had theribs. I definitely recommend the ribs! They were just enough sweet and tangy with a kick! Sorry!!!! No burger for you:) After the first bite i put my phone away and just enjoyed!It was so delicious.!!!!?????? very nice... homey atmosphere, you could tell there was plenty of regulars , some just sitting down watching the game others came to pick upthe food - and a lot of it! On top of that, there was mustard on the table and ketchup- no need to ask. Place was clean andfriendly. We will definitely return, and I highly recommend it :) ???? Read more
Great downtown Huntley location. Plenty of parking & easy to get to. On Chicago's Best for their infamous Parkside burger. So... many delicious food options on the menu you will have plenty of reasons to go back. Fun & cozy atmosphere with laid back localvibe. Friendly & helpful staff. Dine-in, take out or delivery. Clean and the wait staff was attentive. The cheese curds were "ok" but the shrimp appetizer and burger was great.
First time here and I thought the food was "good". Lots of great options on the menu and we look forward to visiting again to... give the other items a try. I decided to go with the cheese and bacon burger and it was a tad over done. Went here for lunch with a group of 10. We sat outside since it was beautiful out and they have such a great outdoor setup.... Would recommend for bigger groups. The server was perfect with our orders, the food runner was accurate, and the food wastasty. Read more
The annual Turkey Testicle Festival typically draws 2000 to 5000 people. Standing room only. Some tables. Music from four... different bands and is loud and distorted. Food and drinks are all $8 each via tickets you buy outside the main tent. Verylimited seating in the VIP area, which is wrong in my opinion. I have been to this festival four times now.
