When we signed up with Harvest Hosts a few years ago, we envisioned places we could stop while traveling, but that also would be... friendly, welcome places to visit along the way. Fion Wine Room is EXACTLY this and more. Let me explain: We arrived a half-hourbefore their posted closing time after a LONG drive across state on our way home. The owner greeted us at the door saying, "Youmust be tired after your long trip. Get settled and come on in, no rush. We stay open until you're happy." We ENJOYEDgenerously-poured flights and bought a bottle of everything. The food was warm and wines/bourbons tasted wonderful. Not onlythis, but the owner sat down with us and chatted, making us feel welcome and comfortable with our stay. Very hospitable,friendly and professional. What an amazing place to hangout on a nice summer day! The staff were excellent and the service was prompt and friendly. The... place is so clean with great design touches. The variety of cigars, bourbon, wine, beer, wine slushees , delicious appetizersand cheese/meat trays were impressive. They have two party rooms and a nice outdoor seating area, where you can take in thebeautiful acreage. I took my golf clubs and was able to smash some balls in between beverages. Unusual combo but it works. Nice driving range and no attendant needed which is nice! Inside very nicely done. Great wines,... craft beer, and whiskey. Yummy appetizers. Fun clean place for gatherings and groups on any occasion. Read more
