We visited Marigold in Huntsville. Seating is good. Most of the items on Menu were not available on Saturday. Food taste is... average, the Malai chicken Tikka that we ordered was not tasty and was very hard. Butter and Garlic naans were soft and tatsedgood. Kadai chicken was average. Service is ok. We were at the restaurant at 7 30 PM on Thanksgiving evening but were sent back because the chef wasn't ready to cook anymore.... Yes. Really. Their own website says they close at 8 30PM. We spent time to find parking and had a 7 month old baby and a hungrykid with us. But they wouldn't budge in. Looks like the owner is not available and the employees decided to close early. We really wanted to try this place, but they wouldn’t let us. The first night we went in there were 6 people in the restaurant... in total. 2 tables. Everything else was empty. We were told they could seat us, but if we really wanted something there wouldbe a 40 minute wait to get a table. In an almost empty restaurant. On our second attempt the restaurant was completely emptyand we were told they are only doing take out. We are here from out of town, which is why we’re trying to eat out, so take outis not an option. Surprised to see an Indian chain of restaurants in this town of Huntsville! They build and carried this place so well!... Everything that you see here, exudes the Royal Indian experience one can have. Food was tasty, services were good, staff wassmiling and totally engaged! We went to this restaurant for dinner on Saturday, May 21, and there were few people waiting outside. We entered after about... 20-25 minutes of waiting. After another 15 minutes of waiting, someone came and took the order. We ordered two starters, one ofwhich arrived cold after 45 minutes, and the other starter was served to the table next to us. We suspected at the time thatthey had mistakenly served our order to someone else, but we decided to wait for our order, which never arrived at ourtable. After 20 minutes, we were served our main course again, this time cold. Please keep in mind that we've been eating forabout 1.5 hours. The best part is that when we went to pay our bill, the cashier or owner, whoever it was, charged us for thestarter that we never received. When I mentioned it to her, she pretended to be surprised and said it was impossible. We lostour cool this time. On top of that, she was asking us how our service was, to which I replied, "You don't even ask thisquestion." Then she says that from now on, we will not allow people to enter if the restaurant is full, and she begins toexplain why they are understaffed. I replied, "That's not my concern; what if I start making inflationary excuses and only payhalf the bill?" Will you let me do that? This is the only Indian restaurant in the area, and people go there with highexpectations, only to be disappointed. This is not a restaurant I would recommend to anyone. Read more

The appetizer wasn't great but the mains were amazing especially the paneer Tikka masala was one of the best I've ever had! The... washroom was also extremely clean. Would definitely recommend for the main curries. Read more

Stumbled on this restaurant while spending a weekend in Huntsville. What can I say? 5 stars all the way. The two fellas working... were polite and prepared some of the best Indian food we have tried. The menu has a lot of selection and a quality vegetarianmenu. If you enjoy Indian food be sure to swing into Marigold Unique Flavour. Incredible. Read more
