I waited to make a review until my second visit hoping it was an off day. The first time we went my dog's bacon was overcooked... and missing one of its toppings. I will say, the chilli, gravy, and fries are all very good, both times. The second time, ourhotdogs were cut in half and absent of bacon wrap (bacon bits were added on top but there's no way to discern how much isactually given). We asked and they said it was because of complaints of the hotdogs being cold on the inside, although the foodwas somehow still oddly not warm at all (the chili couldn't begin to melt the cheese), meat not hot to the touch, and there weremouthfuls of just condiments and bun vs the amount of dog there is, despite it being cut and shifted to compensate for theirsize. Nice little stop before or after camping! Really good food. Hot dogs about $10-$12 and they're pretty loaded. Poutine and... chilli fries also has lots of toppings on them. Very friendly service. Pet friendly place. Lots of seating. Read more

The Muskoka Dog House has some pretty terrific dogs if you are a fan. We had the Chili Cheese Dog, Junkyard Dog, Hawaiian, and... Steamed Loaded. The folks there are also super friendly, so give it a try the next time you are nearby! Read more
