Great food. The tartar sauce seemed like it had a hint of vinegar in it perhaps? Maybe it was the fish? That was something... new. Fries - very crispy Fish - Sooooo crispy and delicious. Very tender and not dry like some places. Great food and theambiance is very original too! Read more
One of the best places to have fish and chips. The coconut shrimp was yum too! They have a huge variety of food options. Loved... the decor, they have so many cute tea pots. Also, tried there sample cheesecakes loved the mango cheesecake. Read more
I want to start by saying the service could be better, I dont know exactly why but felt like the servers did not want to serve... is. However, he taste and quality of food made up for what was lacking in service. Portion size was great and everything tastedfresh. And the decoration of the restaurant was also really amusing. The positive reviews and awards for Westside are well-deserved. We came for dine-in and ordered the dinner for two that came... with 4 pieces of fish, a generous serving of fries & coleslaw. The food was extremely fresh and delicious. Most dessert is madein-house so definitely try it out. My favourite thing about the whole experience was the staff. Both our servers were absolutelylovely - I didn?t get her name, but she gave us helpful recommendations to visit the Eclipse Walk in town. Our other server,Sam, took the time to tell us some stories behind the really unique decor of the place. Such a warm & homey environment,definitely stop by when you?re passing through Huntsville! Fresh food and great service. Everything we had served warm and fresh. Loved all the comfort foods we had! Especially the hot... chocolates with fresh-made whipped cream!! We had haddock fish&chips, replaced with sweet potato fries, poutine with mozzarellacheese, peameal bacon breakfast, spaghetti with meatballs, and everything tasted so good. If you are visiting Huntsville and are in the mood for fish and chips this is the place to be. The food is amazing and the... portions are great. My parents raved about their anniversary dinner there, so we went this week. Loved the atmosphere! Sweetly decorated. The... waitress was pleasant, the service was excellent. I had the fish & chips, (haddock) it was perfectly cooked, not greasy andabsolutely delicious. The coleslaw they serve is the best I've ever had. Mom had a hot roast beef sandwich, she found the beefa little hard to chew and stringy, but overall the rest was delicious. Dad loved the liver and onions. Garlic bread was lightlytoasted white bread with garlic butter. Definitely one dish that wasn't impressive, but aside from that, we really lovedeverything else. The homemade pies are a real treat.
