On Friday, July 10th, I called and spoke with a girl about ordering a cookie cake for my husband's birthday. I also ordered a... quart of the sweet cream with marshmallows ice cream. (He specifically requested these.) I told her his birthday was on TuesdayJuly 14th and that I wanted to pick everything up on Tuesday. The girl on the phone told me that they were closed on Tuesday butto hold on she wanted to speak to her manager that was on duty. Between the girl on the phone and the manager on duty, wearranged for me to pick everything up on Tuesday at noon. I was asked to go ahead and prepay since the store was officiallyclosed Tuesday. I was told they would only be in there cleaning and working on stock and whatever else was needed to be done andthat the registers would not be working. I agreed to prepay. I live in Crockett so I showed up at 11:40 am and waited until12:15 pm. I went to the doors and knocked on the windows. The doors were locked and the store was dark. I attempted torepeatedly call. I was unable to leave any kind of a voicemail or speak to anyone. I even went around back to see if maybesomebody was there but the store was completely empty. I finally left in a panic because I had all this planned out and now myhusband's 40th birthday was in shambles because it was way too late to at least get a cake made. However I ended up finding astore in The Woodlands. After discussing this nightmare over the phone, I drove to The Woodlands Mall and was able to get thecookie cake made there but no ice cream. Overall, I spent $85 just for a cookie cake and drove 175 miles round-trip. Then atabout 2:30 pm, I get a call from Julian telling me there was an emergency in Houston (guess that means everyone that works inthe store on Tuesday had the same emergency) and that is why they weren't at the store. I don?t really care for this location. I was super excited to go here and get the 10 dollar cookie milkshake drink with my... sister in law. The girl at the counter was super awkward. When she was making it, her and another girl were laughing because shestated ? I don?t even know what I?m doing, like I don?t know what I?m even making? we bought a couple other things and ignoredit. A group of college kids came in and tended them quickly while we were still waiting for our 2 cookies and milkshakes. Theyasked the college kids about rewards, telling them promos etc.. and me and my sister in law didn?t get the same treatment. Mostlikely never going back. Read more
Regarding a previous review - why go if you don't want to pay a premium price for a cookie? That is literally what places like... this are about. If you want a good quality cookie/cookie cake, this is the only place in Huntsville to try and find one, apartfrom grocery stores. Read more
My sons cookie cake turned out amazing and was delicious as always. Got home only to have the cat walk on and lay down on the... box and ruin half the dinosaur design. Took the cake back to the store to see if they could fix it and told them we were willingto pay whatever the cost (My son was crying his cake was ruined). Not only were they able to fix it on the spot but they werenice enough to not charge us. They made my son?s day twice and I?m super thankful for the workers at this location.
