Probably the most perfect coffee shop I have ever been to. The spaciousness, the coffee, the vibe, the people, there is nothing... I would change and would love a replica on the east coast! Read more

Just moved to the area and this is by far the best coffee I've ever had. Wonderful service and the nicest property to sit and do... work or just enjoy the day. Definitely coming back alot! Read more

We are local to Huntsville and appreciate doing business locally. First Lift is a great place for coffee and snacks. Coffee is... excellent. Pastries and sandwiches as well. So why 2 stars... well, because the hours are so random and inconsistent. Beenquite a few times that we have stopped by in the afternoon for a coffee to find they are closed. Or a sign on the door that saysthey are closed for a private event, but no one is inside. Would love to patronize this place more, but we end up heading overto Mad Moose most of the time because at least we know they are open. If First lift could maintain normal coffee shop businesshours, 6am to 6-7pm we would be happy to swing by a few times a week. And a lot of others would as well, coffee just isn't formornings. And you cant make money if you aren't open. Read more

I?m really disappointed to have to write this review. I used to frequent First Lift pretty regularly. We moved to the area in... October of 2021 and I was sad to leave behind a favorite, locally owned coffee shop and equally as delighted to find First Lift.I?d come with my kids, grab coffee and a treat and walk to the library or the park. However, last time I was there I brought afriend who had never been before. She met me there with her two small kids and we were enjoying some treats in the lounge areabefore heading to the library. We were keeping a close on the kids, as we always do, making sure they knew not to touch any ofthe nice decor. A woman sitting there who apparently worked there decided to tell my friend ?Be careful with your kids. If theybreak anything, they won?t be welcome here.? Word for word. I approached her and asked her to explain and she then told me thatwe were giving the impression that we had no control of our kids and therefore no respect for the facility. I was shocked. Ialways tip, I like bringing new people there, and it was becoming a favorite little outing of mine with my kids, but I?ve rarelybeen so shocked or offended. I very much respect the store and would never allow my kids to disrespect it intentionally.Unfortunately, what appears to be a locally owned, family friend coffee shop (attached to a hotel that I assume kids stay at aswell??) is just a place to have antiques on display. Their priorities seem a bit out of place. I will no longer be giving mymoney to them. Read more

The atmosphere here is great. It's very cozy inside, not too loud and the coffee is pretty good. The baristas were polite and... friendly. Seems like a great place to settle in and enjoy a coffee. Read more

Inside the large Compass Rose building. Latte was good. Husband's blueberry muffin was unexpectedly warmed up and it was very... good. As you can see, there is a very nice outside area with an interesting arrangement to enjoy while drinking coffee. And avery pleasant employee. And a park across the street. And other shops. Just a nice place to drive to for a change of pace. Read more

Amazing soup and pretzels. Nice outdoor fire to enjoy coffee together 6 feet apart.
