The walleye and pinecones were excellent. The pasta however was overcooked, super mushy. The pasta sauce was a tomato Alfredo... which was very tasty. The pasta came with parmesan encrusted chicken breast. It was perfectly cooked and the seasoning was nice,but a tad too salty. Read more
Easily one of the best restaurants around. I have found it hard to find restaurants with an eclectic atmosphere and menu in this... area. This place is exactly that. Fantastic fun place! Atmosphere was friendly, inviting, and accommodating. The 40 minute wait was worth it! Food was severed... Fresh & Hot, and food was served quickly. We ordered the Walleye with the ?pine cones?, which were little fried potatoes shapedlike pine cones. Made from scratch! I ordered the Ruben sandwich, and onion rings. All our food was fantastic, including thefresh bake bread homemade. We would highly recommend this place! We traveled over 1,300 miles to give this place a try. It isworth it! Great job Iron Nugget! Came to the Iron Nugget via referral from a local as place to get a good steak. ???? Mind blowing ribeye!!! Cooked to... perfection and smothered in garlic horseradish sauce.
