What the actual heck?!?! This place is terrible! How has it been around so long? I mean it's just not good! The fries were cold... and dry. The fish is paper thin and the corn on cob looked like it has been in a steamer for days... just eww all around :-( Ijust wanted some decent fish to grab on my way home but NEVER ever will I again. Being someone new to TX, ordered to go from here for the 1st time and I am a bit impressed! Chickens were delish! -have that... good crunch on the outside, fresh and tender on the inside! The gizzards were also cooked so good! Wait time was a bit longerwhich is the reason for 4 stars- though it could be from the busy day and my amount of orders, but overall, I definitelyrecommend! I ordered a 3 piece dark and they only gave me a 2 piece dark. Not acceptable especially since I paid for the 3 piece dark meal.... They got the sides correct just shorted me the 3rd piece of chicken. And I drive out of my way to go to them to get dinner formyself. They are not in my area. They are 20 minutes away from my home. I could of stopped at 2 other chicken places that wereon the way and gotten chicken from them but I preferred Lisa's over the others and then they rip me off on my food. I'll knowfor next time. Fried fish dinner was good. Fish was cooked crispy. Cole slaw was spoiled so we lost our family sized container but it happens.... The review would of been 5-Stars if not for the Cole Slaw. Family meals are a great value. Read more
The chicken and mac n cheese is sooo good! The fish is decent but I like the chicken better. I tried an apple pie and I didn't... really like it. I haven't tried the lemon because they were sold out. I will be back ???? Read more
First off this is 3 stars simply because of the overall presentation of the establishment. You can see upon arrival that this... building is in need of repair. The staff wasn't overly friendly but I cant call them rude. The tables were dirty and a mopbucket was out in front of one door creating a trip hazard. Now let's talk about the CHICKEN! It was really good and I'm glad wetried it. I would definitely eat this again. Fresh tasting, well seasoned and large portions. I recommend trying it but justdont expect to be impressed with service.
