I love their fries. This was my first time here. The burger and all the fixings on it were fresh and tasty.
Biscuits were more like toast they were so hard and crispy. My order sat in the ready slot for 5 minutes before they were bagged... and handed over. The McDonald's a few exits north is fast and good. Read more

CHANGE YOUR GLOVES!!! I'm in the restaurant right now. A guy wearing a over-worn blue Jacket was messing with the pipes near... the sink with a pair of gloves. Then he walked over to the food prep area, touching the food prep counter with THE SAME PAIR OFGLOVES ON!! Which may indicate that he intends to fix food with those same pair of gloves on - and I just ordered two burgersfrom there!!!! I'm seriously taking a chance here. But it'll be my last for sure!!!! What few Carl's Jr.s that are left in Texas are to be found at Love's travel stops. You can get lunch and then go shop if you... like, and fill the fuel tank on the way out. You might not have ever tried Carl's charbroiled cheeseburgers. The flavor istruly unique. Carl's currently has a Sour Dough Famous Star on the menu that's worth a try. But the original is still myfavorite. Read more
This place is nowhere close to Whataburger. Food comes out very, very fast. I hadn't even finished filling my drink and it was... ready. I can appreciate not waiting forever. Food coming out that fast makes me think they have a lot it cooked ahead and itjust sitting in a warmer. We had a double CB and the chicken club. The chicken had that hard, gristle in it still. You can'treally eat the whole sandwich because of it. Their mayo had a funny taste to it as well. I liked their fries, similar toshoestring. And their sweet tea was super good.
