We stopped in for an early dinner on our way out of the Cape. The chicken and barley soup.... was hot, and very, very flavorful... and delicious!! If I wasn't traveling 4 hours I would've ordered some to go....a day later I am still thinking about thissoup!! Our salad was crisp fresh and cold. The herb salad dressing was delicious. I ordered baked scrod, it was cookedthoroughly, crisp on the outside tender and hot on the inside. Mashed potatoes were smooth and stayed warm throughout the meal.My love ordered the seafood medley casserole, something like that...delicious!!! We are so glad we stopped here! Amazing food & Service! We were staying at the cape codder resort where this restaurant is attached and we came here almost... daily at different meal times and each experience was great with delicious food! Also the manager was great and very helpfulwith staff and moving along service quickly!! Read more
A solid 4 out of 5. THE CAPE Cod Ruben was very good. The Sweet potato French fries not worth the extra 1.99. Chicken tenders... were KFC style. Fresh spinach greens on the salad. I ate breakfast and dinner here. Breakfast was good but she brought out the wrong breakfast sandwich and by the time I got the... right one, my husband was done eating his. Dinner was just ok. Honestly felt like I was eating Perdue chicken strips from thebag in my chicken Alfredo. Wait staff is great though and they serve good drinks. Read more
Typically when you preface something, you are setting the stage for failure. That's not the case here. This 3 star review isn't... bad. With that being said, it was a rather typical experience. You're not going to get a Michelin star meal here but you'regoing to be able to feed an army and walk away full. The drinks and apps menu are quite extensive and while you're not gettingtop shelf drinks, you'll find anything you want to cure a craving. We came for supper with a party of 8, on a Monday night(school night still). Service wasn't fast but the staff was friendly and the food seemed to hit the spot. I ordered the doublebacon cheeseburger, medium rare with fries. Had I know the patties were uber thin, I would have ordered them rare. There wasn'tanything medium rare about the burger but it was good...really. Our waitress kept our drinks coming and the food came outhot. The menu here isn't exactly for the health conscious but you will find something to appease your appetite. Again, thisisn't a bad 3 star review. We all liked our food and some took boxes to go. The bar waitress on 11/19 @630pm Was absolutely amazing.. great service and excellent with my kids.! Also had an excellent... breakfast that morning and the waitress was very friendly and kind, always checking in with us making sure completely satisfied with our meals.. highly recommended!!!!
