Overall great experience. Place is cool. They have in and outdoor. Service was great. Menu is big. Many options. Food was fine.... Some dishes was really good like egg row with bean and pork, tacos, Quesadilla, sweet potatoes , the rest was just ok. Streetcorn was delicious! Drinks was good. Granted it?s colorful, and has great decor. But the staff was very iffy except for our ?final eventual server? who was amazing... ! The person who seated us indoors at first, put us between a trash can and another booth with dirty utensils and trays. Therewas lot of other open space around and we had called before arriving ! We asked to be seated outdoors and the server said it?snot for her to seat us outside. Determined not to spoil our evening, we asked another person to seat us outside who readilydid. Now for the good part. Our server outdoors was amazing ! She custom made my wife?s vegetarian dish with care, offeredsuggestions when we asked and our food and drinks arrived timely. So, if you don?t let some bad employees spoil your mood, theplace can be a good option. Best place to have Mexican food when you are around Yarmouth! I was placing the order for 4 different people for pick up and it... got a little too much. But the person on the call was just too patient with us, we really appreciate that! He gave us the timewe required and didn?t even rush us a bit. Sam Diego's appears to be a family oriented Mexican restaurant with large seating areas, fine decor, and a fun atmosphere. For... us, the food was quite good but did not wow. The chips were very good but the salsa was bland and tasted heavy of tomato sauce.We had the "mammoth"-size Rag-Top Cadillac Margaritas which were quite tasty, and are said to be 27 ounces, but the "mammoth"designation seemed more of an excuse to charge you close to $20 for that margarita. Great decor and atmosphere. The menu was large with plenty to pick from and everything we ordered was good. Two adults and two... kids. Though my daughter said the chicken tacos were a little bit spicy she managed to finish it. My son enjoyed the chicken andfrench fries very much. My husband and I split the habanero wings which were delicious and a burrito which was good as well.Drinks and service were perfect. A family favorite. Food and drinks never disappoint. Friendly and personable service. I had a shredded chicken taco and small... cheese crisp. Hubby had a combo platter. We shared a mammoth sized frozen margarita. Tried the pomegranate version. Deliciousand refreshing! Food was fresh and piping hot. And I ate light knowing I have to get the fried ice cream. We got the originalthis visit but I ask them to leave off the coconut. Mmmmmmmm It was an overcast afternoon but lovely temp outside so we sat onthe patio. Halloween was nice here. Excellent customer service and good food. Appreciated the peach margaritas. Cute server and busser.
