First off Alison J was and amazing server. My 10 year old daughter and I came here for dinner on a free night when we were in... town for dance nationals. We are from New York and are definitely foodies! Every plate put in front of us was beautifullypresented and absolutely delicious! The shared plates of bone marrow and carpaccio and our meals of tuna and salmon werefantastic. Best meal I've had in a very long time. Service was excellent and my daughter was treated like a person not a child!Loved everything about this place! Read more
Visiting from New York we found The West End last year. We loved the quiet atmosphere, the outstanding service and the fabulous... food. We enjoyed a fine dining experience and couldn't wait to come back this year. Sadly it was a totally different experience.The atmosphere was loud and not as inviting. A woman who worked there seemed to be engaging with guests, but after 30 minutes ofher lamenting about the business in a rather loud voice and the challenges. This was a major turn off. The atmosphere was loudand sevice not great. The servers were professional and atmosphere great. Sadly we will not be returning. Read more
Since moving to the area a few months ago I am constantly searching for good brunch and breakfast spots. I was scrolling through... Instagram one day and The West End popped up on my feed and I knew I HAD to go! They do take reservations throughout the daywhich made things a whole lot easier. The parking lot is easily accessible and the location is a good size. I was elated when wewalked into the restaurant and we were greeted by the sweet sounds of live music. A perfect accompaniment to a hearty brunch.The restaurant is decorated beautifully and the tables are spaced out enough to feel comfortable and safe. The food wasphenomenal. We started with the Apple donuts. They were warm and gooey when they came out. We also had the special which was aGreek yogurt with fresh fruit and white chia seeds. The tart yogurt, with the sweet fruit was the ultimate combination. Iordered the mushroom Benedict and my boyfriend got the hash and eggs. Both dishes were 10/10! Also they serve up a deliciouslycreamy cappuccino, so good I ended up having 2…hehe. This was an unexpected beautiful brunch experience. Incredible event space! We had our baby shower at The West End in January and the staff were all wonderful to work with and the... event space really wowed our guests. They were very accommodating with dietary restrictions, the staff went above and beyondduring service, and the event manager had exceptional attention to detail. We went with a brunch menu and the food was deliciousand the drinks were outstanding. Highly recommend hosting an event here as both you and your guests will be pleased! Read more
An excellent and welcome dining experience in Hyannis! My 4 stars is a meant as a strong compliment, as I don’t give 5 very... easily. The new owners have done a fabulous job in making this a very warm and welcoming venue. The servers were very attentiveand friendly, and plenty of extras attending to table needs (water, clearing plates, etc). The menu is solid, the appetizer wehad was the oyster toast, very tasty and a great size as a starter. The house salad was super fresh and a nice mix of greens andextras, and very tasty. Nice and innovative drink and wine menu! We had the striped bass special, which was a tad overcooked (vsa 5 star meal, but still tops in Hyannis) and to our taste rather over seasoned (likely salt and pepper, which may please somebut really masks the flavor of a very tasty striped bass). Overall, a great evening, and we look forward to returning especiallyduring live music events and when we find ourselves in Hyannis… But probably not a destination restaurant for us coming fromOuter Cape. This restaurant was amazing. The food was excellent and more importantly the server we had was superb. She was so friendly and... attentive. She made sure we were satisfied during the entire visit. My bridal shower was hosted at The West End and it was absolute perfection! Meaghann is the most amazing Events Manager and was... so supportive and responsive during the planning process and on the day of. My hope was to have an "elegant tropical" theme andshe went above and beyond even finding additional little details to add to the decor we brought. The food was absolutelyexquisite in presentation and taste. They accommodated my gluten-free needs (Celiac) without any difficulty. The staff on theday of was so attentive and lovely to work with. The venue itself is stunning and they set up a lovely flow with a couple longtables for our brunch and then a more open area with couches for gifts and mingling. Attached to the main room was a small bararea with fantastic decor where our few male guests and groom hung out and ate while also enjoying watching the festivities andbeing able to visit with the group! I keep reliving this beautiful day in my memories and can't thank the team at The West Endenough! Many of our guests also reached out to comment on just how beautiful of an event it was! I look forward to dining at TheWest End in the future and hope to host future events with Meaghann and her team! Read more
