Went on a Sunday for brunch, got a seat easy enough and the staff were helpful and attentive. The breakfast sandwich made of... french toast was great as was the breakfast side salad. Worth a visit. Read more
So I live very close to this restaurant and I can honestly say they have a lot of foot traffic. It is a neighborhood restaurant... with regulars. The inside is very nice and so is the outside setup. However the food needs work! I ordered the catfish with kaleand Mac and cheese. The catfish was fried nice but the kale needs seasoning and at least a hint of spice. Now the Mac and cheesewas absolutely horrible! I took one bite and trashed it. No seasoning what so ever, it was very bland and not what I expect Macand cheese to taste like. This is a nice spot, with good food and drink and outdoor/open air seating. I enjoyed my fried green tomato and grilled tofu... sandwich. Happy hour prices are great, too. It’s a relatively small establishment and they have a 75 minute table time max soour experience felt pretty rushed. The bill was placed on our table right after we got a drink after our meal. We went on aMonday night and there were definitely open seats in the House, so it felt a little odd to me. Just something to note ifyou’re going with someone you’d like to be able to talk with.
