Great place. Food is superb. Service was slow due to lack of servers. We waited 35 mins for a table even though many were empty.... Self-serve coffee bar was not good. Close to the Basilica. Hostess was friendly. Read more

Had a great time here for Saturday brunch. Menu has a lot of options at a good price, their lattes were also really good.... Service could be a little better, we waited an extended amount of time for our food, but the manager quickly resolved the issue! Read more

Lamb burger extra sauce. That is it that is all! Had an issue with the wings that was rectified. I forgot the name of my drink... but it was very delicious. The art around the place was beautiful as well. Read more

Really enjoyed the food at this Busboys and Poets location. My friend and I had the shrimp and grits, the lamb burger and for... dessert, chocolate cake. The food was made with fresh ingredients, seasoned well and tasted great. The wait staff were attentiveand helpful. The restaurant was busy at the time we visited but we did not wait long to be seated or served. We ate indoors butthere is Lots of outdoor seating as well. Read more

I loved the concept and ambiance of this restaurant. The menu is varied and has great potential. My husband ordered the Western... Omelette. It was packed with veggies and was delicious. His toast and potatoes were not hot. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Myfood was barely warm. The poached eggs had runny whites. Even the service was luke warm as we had to wave our server down acouple of times for coffee refills etc. Read more

Visited on a Friday lunchtime. I had planned our day to include lunch here, having previously been to the K street branch. It... was quiet and service was quick and friendly. I had the vegan 'chicken' burger which was great, I would gladly have broughthome a jar of the pickles that it came with! My husband had pancakes and a side of home fries, also delicious. Portions were agood size without being too much. Lots more space than the K street branch and maybe the vibe suffered a bit for that but foodand service were great. Read more

Poet Inspired Dining. 3 simple words express this modern take on art and food. On this day I had Brunch but Lunch and Dinner... options are where this place shines. They have several gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. DC inspiredcocktails may also be found in the menu. It appeared to me that the Servers are a bit overworked due to understaffing issuesmost likely caused by the pandemic. Don't let that stop you from giving this place a try. Parking isn't too hard to find asthere is a public underground garage attached to the building. Read more

I've been to all the Busboys and Poets in the DC area... and I've occasionally been disappointed in the quality of the food, but... this Busboys pays attention to detail in the kitchen. I was impressed with the service as well. Lots of diverse menu options, and very accommodating for vegan and vegetarian diets. Will return. Read more
