Outstanding service from Nacho and unbelievably “chill” atmosphere like we are regulars. Smoked down the Classic ground... brisket and feta & dill cigars but watch the dipping sauce it brings the heat. My family and I ate here on Friday and it was great. The space is beautiful, the cocktails were tasty (try the old fashioned!),... the food was great. It was a little late and we had kids but everyone was welcoming. My card got declined because I didn’ttell my bank I was traveling and the server was really helpful and kind explaining it happens a lot. Very good spot in NoMa.Recommend. Read more

Carving Room officially has the best brunch menu item in DC. Their traffic jam seen in the photo below gives you everything you... want for Sunday breakfast: cheesy eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and French toast with their signature rasberry sause. It’s also theperfect amount of food: not too much, not too little. We’ll definitely be coming here more regularly for that dish. Onlyfeedback I have is the cheesy eggs were a tad salty (only a bit) and it would be great if they replaced their see through glasscoffee mugs with more traditional pewter ones. Drinking hot coffee out of a glass feels weird to me for some reason. Other thanthat, congrats on nailing the perfect brunch dish!!! Read more
