I’m giving a 5 but would be a 4.5 if I could. The food was really good. There wasn’t 1 thing I ate that wasn’t tasty. The... Paneer was one of my favorites, lamb shank - so good, the bread basket is a must get, chicken tikka was good…the list goes on. The service was wonderful, our server was so amiable and gave vivid detail (no exaggeration) about each plate and flavorprofile. Food came out quickly and everyone was friendly and helpful. The acoustics inside could be improved - it’s was tooloud inside so we moved outside as it was easier to have a conversation. Read more
Came here on a date night with my husband and was truly blown away! The food was top notch! We had the scallops as a... recommendation from our server and they were to DIE for. The sauce is legit drinkable. Next up was the chicken tikka tacos- somuch flavor! We also had the bread basket, carrots and broccoli, bass and the chicken Tikka. Everything was amazing! The ownercame by our table many times to check on us. My water was constantly full which I was super impressed by because I drink so muchwater. We will definitely be back! Worth the recent hype ? Probably yes. Service is great, menu selection is decent - being an Indian restaurant primarily targeted... towards non-indians you may not like certain dishes. They tried to be unique and flavorful, but not necessarily the same dishthat you expect elsewhere. It's in a somewhat sketchy neighborhood of DC ( going by the surroundings ) , found parking onstreet- not sure what the options are if you can't find street parking. Decor is simple and chick.
