Fantastic time. Josh is an amazing host. Explains the rules and technique really well and is very attentive in coming back to... check on the group. Drinks were good. Food menu could use some more choices though. Read more

My fiancé and I went to Kick Axe on Monday. It was a great time to go because it wasn’t crowded at all and it’s cheaper on... Mondays and Tuesdays. They also have games to play while waiting. We had a blast! Highly recommend! Read more

This was a fun time. Went here with friends and our teenage daughters. There was 6 of us. The teens had to be out by 9pm so we... made sure our reservation was made at a time for them to be gone in time. We had chips and queso. Chips and guac. Wings. Theadults had drinks. Kids sodas. The food was average and my drink was strong. No complaints. Read more

My trip would be in the negatives if I could. I had a reservation for 9:15, we showed up on time and signed in. We were promptly... told to wait and we would be brought to our lane in a few minutes. This went on for over an hour as we waited and each time weasked we were brushed off by the staff. From what I saw many other reservations waited similar length and all walk ins justleft. Once we were finally shown to our lane we were told our reservation would only be half the normal length as we waited anhour. Only after fighting were we given our actual reservation length. If I had not already paid I would have walked out with mygroup instead of waited. Drinks are also overpriced and low quality. Read more

VISIT THIS PLACE ASAP!!!!! I must say that first! After living in DC for 10 years, I can confidently say this is one of the top... spots I've been to for just an all-around amazing time with excellent drinks, outstanding customer service (Andre!!!!) andincredible entertainment! We accidentally went to the wrong spot first (use caution: there's another axe throwing place closeby and it's NOTHING like this spot) so we called to say we wouldn't be there the 20 minutes early that they suggest. I dosuggest you get there those 20 minutes as you have to sign waivers, get drinks and then listen to instruction. Luckily there wasnobody blocked for our lane after us so they were very accommodating and it was no big deal. You will walk in and want to spendseveral minutes just taking in the scenery. The decor and neon signs are spectacular. It's an IG paradise for sure. I recommendgoing at least 30-45 minutes early so you can have a drink or 2 first. There are tables and couches and a fireplace to enjoywhile you wait. Our axe-throwing guide was Andre and he was SO FUN! He was entertaining and such a joy for the entire group. Healso came by nonstop to give us tips and advice on how to throw. I went from not being able to hit any part of the wood togetting the bullseye several times before we left. He would also clean our empty cups from the area and he just ensured ourtime spent there was absolutely enjoyable. When you're done, GO UPSTAIRS! Do not leave without at least visiting their sisterspot (Throw Social) upstairs. You can read my review of that spot next. TIPS: Make sure you are going to Kick Axe and notanother spot! Get there early! AT LEAST 20 minutes but to really enjoy it, have a pregame drink and be able to take everythingin, I say 45 minutes. We had a group of 5 and it was a good number. I would say 6 is good per booth. More than that, split upand get another booth because this ensures everyone gets plenty of chances to throw. Read more
