Decent location, overpriced but very tasty drinks that took 15 minutes, but the bartender seemed very new. Ordered food from... another vendor in the food hall, sat at the bar with the buzzer, brought our food over, waited 10 minutes for it to cool down,and the “head” bartender decided to finally tell us no “outside food allowed”. No signs up, no mention of it beforehand. Not paying $20 for microwaved empanadas when I can get the real thing at another stall. Would’ve definitely bought a fewmore rounds if it wasn’t for the food rule. Read more

Overpriced and poor food quality. Definitely a pass. $15 cocktails and $14 salty tapas. Service also a bit slow.

Our experience was great! We went during DMV Black Restaurant Week. The bartender, Geoff, was knowledgable and friendly. The... drinks were rightly potent and appealing. We had the cheese empanadas which were quite tasty. The location makes sense but I didneed to ask someone where the location was before they opened. Altogether, I will be back! Read more
Serenata has a really cute vibe with some interesting Latin inspired cocktails and small bites. It’s located inside a shared... space with another restaurant, which is okay for a meet up with friends. Similar to the setup inside of Union Market. When i tell you this is the spot to go to when you come to DC, i mean it!!!! the drinks were next level delicious & beautifully... crafted. Our bartender John was amazing, he gave excellent customer service & took extremely good care of us with it being me &my mom’s first time there. The bar manager AJ was on her game!! she also gave extraordinary next level customer service andgave great drinks suggestion and great energy. After the time i had last night i know i have to go to Serenata everytime i cometo DC! Also the other bartenders working there were doing an amazing job too!!! ill definitely be coming back not just next timeim in town but EVERYTIME I COME TO DC I’LL BE COMING TO SERENATA!!! Tell your friends to pull up on saturdays when La Coeschahave dancing from 8pm-11pm!
