Shewa is my favorite neighborhood restaurant! When I moved to the H Street/Benning Road area, I immediately looked for a spot to... become a regular at (you know how that goes). Having my go-to take out be homemade, healthy, Ethiopian cuisine was more than Icould?ve asked for. The food is amazing, the owners are lovely, and I look forward to eating there every week! This was the first place I got takeout from when I moved to DC. The owners were so welcoming and kind and you can see how proud... they are of their lovely restaurant. It?s a very clean and comforting place with amazing artwork on the walls. The food isabsolutely amazing! It?s so full of flavor and vibrant color. Every time I come here I always want to keep eating because thefood is so good even when I?m already full.
