Great space, clean and good decent food. Customer service could improve, you get the vibe that the people behind the bar... doesn't want to be there and very distracted, they need to be more attentive. Be careful and check your receipts before payingthough. Upon closing our tab, they AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED 20% gratuity for a table of 2 people, maybe because it was SuperbowlSunday, but really though? We don't have a problem with giving 20% but It would have been ok if they let us know they were goingto do it, and not try to be sneaky about it. Read more

I love this space. It has a nice DC Afrocentric feel and they have good vegetarian friendly options. The staff is very Moesha... coffeeshop looking, which adds to its authenticity. They are randomly closed for events so call ahead if you're coming far. Read more
