This is HANDS DOWN one of the best places to eat in Texas, much less down the "wine country" stretch of Hwy 290. The staff are... friendly, and Matt is one helluva cook! Some of the best sandwiches and burgers I've ever had have been from this establishment,and they have plenty of local wines and beers on hand to go with your meal as well. Also, the whole operation is run out of theold post office - which they've kept mostly intact - so there is a lot of original and interesting decor and furnitureinside.
