This is the BEST Chinese food restaurant in Idaho Falls. I have tried all of the other Chinese food restaurants at least once.... Yummy House is the only one I want to go back to time after time. Their General Tso chicken is a must try. It hits the spotalmost every time for me. I?ve had all their lo Mein and the beef is amazing. My wife loves their beef and broccoli and won?ttry anything else. Each meal is large amount of food, so you feel satisfied that you got what you paid for. The breading on meatdoesn?t fall off like a lot of other places. The chicken and meat is tender and not dried out like it?s been cooked or warmed upa few times. The sauces are very flavorful. The food is good. The employees here are always so polite and pleasant to talk to.I?ve never felt out of place coming here to eat. This is a place that if they sold t-shirts, I would want to buy one. I rarely give out 5 stars to chinese restaurants in America, but this place is great!!! A good price with the amount you get!! I... also don?t usually like beef, but the Mongolian Beef is SO GOOD! I've eaten Chinese food in a dozen countries and Yummy House has some of the best ever. Despite the fact that they were... understaffed (Christmas evening, COVID, 2021 labor shortage) and by the time we left every table was full (along with a steadystream of delivery/takeout business), they still managed to feed us fantastic, well-cooked food with a smile. We tried a varietyof things and all exceeded expectations. I kept wanting to get up and bus tables for her, because one woman was literallyrunning the entire front of house operation. But I realized I'd probably be in her way, or confuse her. She ran (no joke, ran)back and forth, leaning into her sprints to get to/from the kitchen. I was impressed and grateful. Whoever was in the backcooking was masterful. The variety of food coming out--even sizzling skillets and bowls and plates and platters--was crazy. Ihope there was more than one person in back. Everything was fresh, crisp, fragrant, and done exactly as custom-ordered. Like Isaid, although I'm definitely not a foodie I eat a lot of Chinese food, and Yummy House was stellar. Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - Beef Brisket in Clay Pot (B11) was great in flavoring and texture for the beef. The sauce was thicker... than expected but good nonetheless. Unfortunately had a piece of plastic in the dish Hong Kong Style Seafood Chow Mein (softnoodles) was good. The noodle itself is dry so you do have to mix the sauce in which was slightly difficult with a full plate.Generous with the calamari but only 3 pieces of scallops Young Zhou Fried Rice was great. Slightly more salty and wished therewere slightly more pork pieces but the fried egg was done well Ambience: 4/5 - well air conditioned. Rustic feel with warmlighting and some traditional decoration. The wall is vinyl bricks and you can notice the edges since it's notuniformed Service: 5/5 - understaff with only one worker who runs around trying to help everyone.
