We’ve heard this place can get really busy at times, but with a capacity of around 700 customers that makes sense. We came at... an off time on a Wednesday afternoon so we had the bar area to ourselves. The pizza is amazing, and they provide free honey todip your pizza crust in. 5 stars plus an extra star!! I had Melissa as my server and pat as the manager for the shift. Melissa was unbelievably friendly, understanding, patient and... helpful. The entire time I was inside the building the manager (Pat) Was keeping busy with helping customers andhelping/checking on his employees. Everyone was very friendly and made our time memorable. Food was absolutely delicious andwell worth the money (amazing work cooks thank you). The building was clean and smelled amazing. 100% recommended stopping by ifpossible. Read more

Mountain pie pizza. Never heard of it. Colorado style pizza. Never heard of it. This little-big hole in the wall restaurant... surprised me. It was fun. The atmosphere was energetic and the food was absolutely yum! The photos are of the front (streetviewwith blue umbrellas) and the back entrance (alley way) Read more

We came here after a hike and the hot springs up the street. Everything was delicious. The artichoke dip is not... pictured..pictures... but it was also lit. A medium is good for 2 people. The local beer recommendations were perfect and Ilearned about 'Colorado style' pizza (twisted crust - add honey to the crust). We got the Lil Italy with half black olives -youcan apparently also mix and match the halves. It was a really fun experience. It's a cool place with a lot of history. Read more

Beer is so good - ice cold refreshing! Nachos were good - chips got soft before I could finish. Which is good and bad right? I... should have ate faster! My nachos were layered with everything but jalapeños — those were all on top. Pretty dry which maybemade them more spicy? I loved them! Bartender found out it was my birthday and gave me a free shot (with proof) which made thestart of my night great! Great place to eat and make great conversation! The only DOWNSIDE was paying for parking!!! I didn’tthink anything of it ($2 for an hour?) I forgot and got SLAPPED with a $50 parking ticket!!!! Read more

Stopped by this restaurant in Idaho Springs on the way back to Denver from the mountains on a Saturday evening. It was around... 6:15pm when we got there, so it was a busy and crowded, but we got to our table after about 15-20 minutes. The decor of therestaurant is fun (Winter sports? Wild west? Miner?) and there's a replica of a miner's shaft with a life-size miner in theshaft! Lots and lots of tables and seating inside, with plenty of friendly and courteous staff. We got a large ("3-pound")pizza with two toppings for about $30, plus a dinner salad, and two glasses of wine. All good. The pizza crust looks "braided"and you can unwind it to dip into honey as a little pastry-like dessert. The salad bar was not available (probably due toCOVID?) but the pizza speaks for itself. Located right off the I-70/Idaho Springs exit and parking is curbside on the street.Overall, a good place to grab a bite on the way down/way up to the mountains. Recommended! Read more

Tasty and delicious pizzas. And their gluten-free crust is pretty decent. We drove 45 minutes to get to Beau Jo’s, but it was... worth the travel. Ten of us celebrated a little kiddo’s birthday. Lots of fun and yummy pizza. Parking was a bit hard tofind in the little town of Idaho Springs. However, we did eventually find reasonably priced parking. I highly recommend BeauJo’s, especially for those who are gluten-free. Read more

Dropped in for a late lunch on the way back from skiing and all was great. Our server, Corey, was prompt and friendly. He... ofrered us good recommendations and got us our drinks and food quickly. We tried the sausage combo mountain pie. A large wasgood for two people with half of it to take home. With the rolled crust edge, they also serve honey for a little "built indessert" as Corey put it. All was good and we'll be back soon! Read more
