Tasty cheesy Mexican. GIGANTIC margaritas! The small house happy hour one is totally a fine size. If you want to get your drink... on the large is good. If you are feeling wild, the gigantic one is a small fishbowl. We had a super tasty Chile relleno burritoand a decent flan night #1. With so many locally owed small... stores and restaurants, it is the best place you can come to spend your weekend and buy a few holiday gifts and fill up on someamazing food. I ordered the Macho Chile Burrito and was completely amazed by how much flavor and how filling it was. I reallywas just looking for something to refuel with that didn’t take to much effort to get to. We stopped here on our way for an afternoon hike. The staff was attentive. The food was served hot and full of flavor. An... excellent alternative to the other restaurants in Idaho Springs. We came here because the wait at Beau Jo’s pizza was so long, bad idea! This is the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten... at. The service was slow and horrible. We had to ask for lemons and more chips and salsa multiple times before getting it. Thewait for food took an hour and it tasted like it was a week old and had been reheated. You would think with a wait that longwith very little customers the food would have been great, wrong! My boyfriend had a chicken burrito. The chicken tasted verystrange and we are both sick.
