Horrible food. We had take-out as Eric said there was no dine-in, even though the dining area was empty. It took only 5... minutes to cook and we were a bit suspicious. We ordered beef w/broccoli and 2 types of fried rice. The chicken and beef wereboth rubbery and the rice was gross. I've never not finished a Chinese food dish. Today was the first day. We will not bereturning. The cost was $46 for three meals. Read more

If we weren't leaving this morning, we would definitely go back. We stopped in late. I ordered kung pow chicken for take out... dinner last night. Service was vetry fast, portions were very generous. The kung pow was made right. Not dry, not swimming insauce, and not watery. If you don't like spicey, you may want to ask if they can go light on the peppers. But it was just rightfor me. Server was very friendly. When he found out we were in a hotel he through a few extra items in the bag for convenience. Read more

I stopped in for the 1st time before hitting the hot springs. I got an order of the won tons as an appetizer and the Beef &... Broccoli lunch. It included soup. I chose Egg Drop and it was delightful! The Beef and Broccoli was just perfect, as were thewon tons! I will definitely return! Read more

Eric's Asian Cafe is a hidden gem. Typically, when you're coming back down the mountain roads traveling through Idaho Springs... the little Asian place that spots your eye tends not to be anybody's first choice, usually these kinds of places in more remoteareas are a bit sketchy. Eric's is not. Very kind staff and some of the best red Thai curry I've ever had. The curry is sweetand spicy and you get a lot!! Will be returning! Read more

The ambiance and decor are not much to be desired. It definitely needs a woman's touch. Not recommended to take a date.... Apparently Eric doesn't own a vacuum or does not feel vacuuming at the end of the day is above his manhood. However this isstrictly a food review which clearly deserves 5 stars. The gyozas were perfectly crispy and juicy. I had the eggplant and tofudish which was very fresh, the eggplant was tasty and tender along with fried tofu pieces deliciously combined in a gingergarlic light sauce. Hubby had the green curry with beef which has the exact amount of spices, cream, and basil to give it anexotic flavor. Overall our food experience was satisfied. Just avoid eye contact with the floors. Maybe a vacuum or broom willbe donated to Eric soon. Read more

Place was quiet with not to many patrons, we were asked to sit wherever we wanted. Atmosphere was nice. Menu options were... typical Chinese restaurant. We were served, food looked delicious. Chicken was a little unseasoned even tho it was covered insauce. Only negative comment is they use MSG so if you have an intolerance you could ask for them not to use it otherwise youmay be in for an awful experience. Prices were a reasonable for two people.
