This is one of those gems you find and don't forget! We were in Golden for a few days and said we need to head into the... mountains for a bit. So we did! And when we got there, turns out we were hungry!!!! Then we found the Main StreetRestaurant!!! First, the place was packed. Most think of this as a detractor, I thought "there's a reason it's packed." After avery brief 5 min wait, a table opened up. And personally, I think it's the best seat in Idaho Springs! We were right in frontsurrounded by all the wonderful succulents and able to watch the world go by through the great windows. The server was morethan helpful in guiding our decision making process. The food came relatively quickly, and let me just tell you!!!!DELICIOUS!!!!! I highly recommend you take the time to eat at the Main Street Restaurant next time you're in Idaho Springs!!! Read more
So good! Six of us ate here and everyone loved their meal. Food was fresh and flavors mixed well. I got the skillet with chili... on top, which surprised me with how well that went together. Had a side of French toast, which may have been my highlight. Thefresh-squeezed pineapple mint was simply delightful. Our server Helena gave great recommendations and was a joy to talk to. Read more

WORTH THE WAIT! We arrived about 9/9:30am on a Sunday and there was a 35-45 minute wait. LET ME TELL YOU - get on the list and... wait it out because it is WORTH IT! Our waitress was prompt, attentive, and had a good sense of humor. The lobster SpinachBenedict and Skillet with gravy was absolutely amazing ???? Unbelievable breakfast!!! Oh my, this place saved me. I was light headed, starving, on a hurry. The menu is very extensive,... prices are great, seduce is delightful, the food was crazy fast, light, super flavorful and just overall the best eggs BenedictI have had in a while! Maybe best ones ever. Very generous portion sizes and so yummy. Check out the video! I made a bit of messknocked the condiments off the table. This is the absolute BEST brunch spot we have been to... ever, not just in Colorado, anywhere. The food is incredible, but the... real bell cow menu item is their homemade bread. Go early! We got there just before 8:00am on a Saturday and it got pretty busy about 30 minutes after that. Pictured is the... veggie burrito, lemon poppy seed pancake with berry compote and cream cheese drizzle, and the country scramble. All wasdelicious!! Service was great. Prices were reasonable and not too expensive. It was hard to choose what to get becauseeverything looked like a good option. They serve breakfast all day and have a solid non-breakfast menu as well. If you are in Idaho Springs, Colorado you MUST have a meal here! The restaurant is open currently 7 am-3:00 pm and doesn?t take... reservations. You put your name on a waitlist and the hostess texts when a table is available! I waited just about 15 minuteswhich gave me a chance to visit a lovely gift shop near by. It was Saturday around Noon and the place was hopping! Friendlyservice and excellent food! I opted for Main Street eggs Benedict and a Bloody Mary. Both recommend!
