Solid brisket. Pulled pork is pretty good. Sweet tea is solid. Okra is pretty good. My biggest complaint is the sauce. It's my... go to spot for heading up to the mountains or on the way back into town. Easily my top 4 bbq spots in Colorado. The locations inDenver aren't half as good. Read more
We stopped for lunch. The Smokin Yard?s BBQ seemed to be a popular place. A group of local cops were having lunch there, too.... Loved the brisket sandwich. The meat practically melted when I bit into it. Service was friendly and quick. The salted peanutswere good but a bit too salty. Read more
Stopped here after hiking Mt. Evans. They have a large parking lot, indoor seating in front and covered patio outback. My order... was served in about 5 minutes which was impressive. Ordered the brisket sandwich and it outstanding. Service was good, highlyrecommend for your BBQ fix! Read more
The literal best BBQ I've ever had, and I've done a ton of traveling so that's saying something. I had the pulled pork and beef... brisket and my boyfriend had the fried catfish. EVERYTHING was absolutely DELICIOUS! I love the design and variety as well. Myonly other feedback is size. May want to move the cashier in a bit so people aren't forced to wait in the cold outside. Stopped here after a day of skiing in Loveland. I would describe this as a very no frills spot in the best way possible. Order... your meal, sit down, enjoy! I love BBQ and this place is now on the top of my list. 1st time here- small dine in area but would be worth the wait. Lots of... local character in ambiance. When you smell it walking in the front door you know you are in the right place. Brisket wasjust falling apart and the 1/2 chicken was so juicy and tender! Wow...so good. It reminds me of living in East Texas where BBQis about the meat! You definitely need to try this place out. Read more
