What a nice surprise!!! We headed into the mountains for lunch and exploration one cold and windy day. We found the visitors... center, we found food, and then.... I found The Frothy Cup!!!! I really wasn't expecting this, at all! As a coffee enthusiast,I honestly thought the last thing I'd find in Idaho Springs was this good of coffee!!!! The ladies behind the counter wereabsolutely delightful and provided wonderful assistance. The coffee for me and tea for a colleague were both delicious on a coldday! Now I know I don't have to go without good coffee when I'm in the mountains. Go check them out, you'll be glad you did!!! Read more

Cute coffee shop with great coffee and tasty breakfast food. Friendly staff. Business is downtown Idaho springs and main street... is blocked off ( at least in the summer) so parking is off street HOWEVER tons of cool niche businesses, eateries and otherthings and I recommend taking a stroll to check things out. Stopped by on a snowy May afternoon. The Frothy Gone Nuts muffin was superb and they make an excellent house whipped cream ????

Eclectic coffee shop with positive vibes. As would be expected (but in case you dog parents are wondering), no dogs inside (only... service dogs). I don?t remember seeing tables outside for dining in with doggies?Maybe a staff member could respond to this andclarify whether there is outdoor seating for curious travelers. Read more

I visited this coffee shop in historic Idaho Springs, CO with my family for the first time yesterday. It was conveniently... located, there was limited parking nearby on the street, the outside of the shop was interestingly decorated, the inside wasalso interestingly decorated, we were not welcomed upon entering the shop, the shop was quite large with a decent amount ofseating, the seating was all rather uncomfortable, wooden chairs, there were three employees behind the front ordering counter, the person who took my order wasn't friendly, the other person who prepared my son's order kept forgetting the details of myadult son's simple order, my Guatemala coffee and blueberry muffin were quite tasty, the music was unusually loud and made ourconversation at our table challenging, and the restroom was clean. I LOVED The Frothy Cup. I was visiting my cousin in Boulder and we stopped by because she loves the area and I fell in love as... well. It is so cozy inside that I wanted to curl up with my chai on a chair and read my book until they closed. If you lovecoffee, and desserts this place is for you. My chai latte was so good that I didn't want it to end and the "Frothy's Gone Nuts"muffin that we shared (minus the yogurt) was MOUTHWATERING. I am writing this at home in NYC and I am upset that I'm so far awayand can't stop in right now. If you are in the area absolutely stop in, you won't be disappointed! Read more
