Stopped here randomly on the way home from Blackhawk. What a pleasant surprise. The food was very fresh, tasty, and portions... where more than generous. The staff was so friendly and sweet. I had the avalanche sub, my lady had a Turkey and both where verytasty. Would highly recommend stopping through here if you find yourself hungry in Idaho springs. We look forward to our nextvisit. My experience started with the manager belittling the lady who was taking my order. She was very nice & did not deserve that. I... ordered the soup of the day, Green Chili with Pork. I paid extra for green onions, cheese & a piece of bread. My soup had nopork, only onions. They added the cheese & green onions. It was onion soup. It had cooked onions, green onions, cheese. I wentto the counter to ask the lady if I had received vegetarian green chili. She said no, we are out of vegetarian chili. I saidmine has no pork. It had nothing. Nothing but onions. I went back to ask for some crackers. The man said we have no crackers. Ican give you another piece of bread. I told him my soup had no pork. He said he could give me another cup. Cup of what? Fraud?Why didn't he give me a nice bowl of soup in the first place? I was extremely disappointed. I left hungry. And angry. Read more
This was an excellent spot to stop for a sandwich on our way out through the mountains for a hike. Fueled up with a super tasty... panini and a beer and were on our way. Really would've liked to explore this small little mountain town more in general butunfortunately we were in a bit of a rush with a jam packed agenda. Happy we chose this spot though! Read more

2 other places we checked had a 35+ minute wait time on a Summer Sunday Afternoon. Two Brothers was quick with no wait, had... quality food and I appreciated that it was not so loud in there! Great spot after a long hike???? Family friendly for ourone-year-old too! Read more
Delicious breakfast sandwiches and wraps! There was plenty to look at in the cute bookshop next door while we waited for our... food to be made fresh in a reasonable amount of time. :) The staff was also extremely friendly. So glad we stopped in! Read more
They aren?t ready. It?s pretty clear back of house operations and systems are not really in place, or have fallen apart... recently. Sandwich orders taking 30+ minutes with only a few other patrons in house? What. Lots of bickering in the fish bowlstyle kitchen that everyone can hear - as other reviewers have mentioned. Lots of microwaved food. 6 folks on staff and theycan?t take orders, build dishes, and bus tables in a small establishment. Have to ask for forks? Seems like a utensil stationwould be useful to speed that process up. just slap some deli meat on bread and hand it to me - I?ll do the rest. Goodness. I?msubmitting to that kitchen rescue show.
