The greatest thing about this place was Christian the Harpist! We came here because a good friend recommended this place to us.... She told us that she used to come to this place since it opened in early 2000 until the pandemic hit. We decided to check itout, so we drove an hour from Riverside. We ordered Pesto bruschetta, Salad, smoked salmon Sandwich, French toast and classicegg Benedict. The only acceptable dish was the pesto bruschetta. The egg Benedict was so depressing, cold eggs and soggy Englishmuffin and very little hollandaise. The roasted potatoes were hard and not baked adequately. The smoked salmon sandwich was justa slab of smoked salmon on a brioche with some poorly spread goat cheese and half a pound of capers. The French toast howeverwon the mediocrity prize. It was just sliced Ciabatta Bread hardly dipped in any egg and milk on one side and barely fried.The people at the table next to us were also disappointed with the food and saying that the new owner doesn?t really care aboutthe quality of the food. We had a wonderful evening at Cafe Aroma. The food (we went for shrimp and Cashew Alfredo pastas, and chocolate cake) was... delicious, the service was perfect and the place had a nice and healthy menu for kids (and crayons) which is very rare to find.The place is super nice with trees around, parking. I saw they also do live music so we'll have to go back for it. Just go, youwon't be disappointed! Read more
This is one of the best restaurants in Idyllwild, there honestly aren?t a ton to choose from but this one is great. They offer... gluten free and vegan options and the menu is quite diverse, you?ll find something If you?re a picky eater like I am. Therestaurant itself has a good vibe and the service is great. I will say, some of the portions are really small, not the entrees,but the bowl of soup is more like a cup, and the tiramisu is not shareable, it?s like 3 bites- It is delicious though. Read more

Seriously, stop reading and go! This place is outstanding! We were seated by Ari and our server was Kevin, both were amazing... people with positive energy. Lots of vegan options for non-meant eaters, and lots of meat options for others. I had the VeganQueso, which was out of this world and the Cashew Alfredo as my main dish. The Cashew Alfredo was one of the best things I haveever had! Then we were gifted the Vegan Tiramisu by the chef that was also delicious! If you're in or near Idyllwild, Ca thisplace is a must! Delicious food. My salmon on cauliflower risotto was unbelievable. It's so nice to eat something gluten free that still feels... like what it's supposed to be. It was just as good as risotto. Salmon was perfect. Carrots were roasted and delicious. The menushows gluten free, gluten free available and vegan options. Highly recommend. Service was great and friendly. Read more
Love sitting on the relaxing patio with friends and family in the beautiful fresh garlic and pine-scented air! Every member from... our party, from age 2 to 90 got exactly what they wanted and we?re no easy clan: some vegan, some omnivore, somegluten-free! The service was bright and attentive even though clearly very busy on a holiday weekend. This place is such a pleasure and the service is superb. The ambiance is white table clothes, indoor/outdoor lights, great music... and art filled vibes all around. The ciabatta and olive oil with garlic has a flavor I couldn't ignore to make another order forthe delicious pairing in my mouth again. I already can't wait to be back. The Argentinan steak was served to perfection andhad just enough flavor. The tiramisu was on point. Don't even get me started on the drinks..... Lavender petals in my Lavenderlemondrop..... the taste of the citrus peel in my blueberry lemonadrop shall not fade from my memories.
